Authentic Homemade Pickles and Fruit Jams
I am Gurdeep Kaur, and this is my labor of love. From tangy pickles to small-batch fruit jams, everything here is made in my own kitchen with zero preservatives, just like I make for my family.
This is me, Gurdeep Kaur, the Punjabi Aunty behind every jar. I started this business at 60, and I am so proud to share my homemade recipes, like this sweet mango pickle, with all of you.
Nothing beats warm toast with a spoonful of my Apple Cinnamon Jam. I make it just like I would for my family, slow-cooked with real apples and a hint of spice for that comforting, homemade flavour.
Before any fruit becomes jam, it is washed and prepared with great care. We source all our fruits from local vendors to make sure everything is fresh and full of natural flavour, just like these raw mangoes being cleaned.

This is my husband Ekbal and me. We run this business together as a team, making sure every jar we sell is perfect. It is a true family business, built on passion and tradition.

About Featured
Because these are entirely free of artificial preservatives, my jams need a little extra love—please keep them in the fridge right after opening. Since I use over 60% real fruit, the texture is naturally chunky. Ek baar try karke dekho (try it once), and you will notice the difference immediately compared to store-bought options that are often just sugar and chemicals.
My Kitchen Philosophy
I started this journey at 60 because I wanted to share the kind of food that is missing from supermarket shelves: honest, natural, and full of flavour. My kitchen in Nagavarapalya is where the real work happens.
We do not use big machines or factory processes. Everything—from the raw mangoes for my pickles to the apples in my cinnamon jam—is sourced from local vendors. I wash, chop, and slow-cook everything in small batches. This method ensures that the vitamins and the natural texture of the fruit remain intact.
What You Get in Every Jar
- High Fruit Content: With over 60% real fruit, you are paying for the produce, not for fillers.
- Zero Nasties: No artificial pectin, no chemical preservatives, and no artificial colours. If it is not something I would feed my own grandkids, it does not go into the jar.
- Traditional Flavours: Whether it is the zesty Kiwi, tropical Pineapple, or the warm Apple Cinnamon, each recipe is developed to balance sweetness and tang in a way that feels like home.
How to Enjoy
Because we avoid preservatives, our jams have a shelf life dictated by the freshness of the ingredients. Always use a clean, dry spoon to scoop out your portion. If you are in Bangalore, you can pick up fresh batches directly from my kitchen. For those further away, we pack each jar with bubble wrap and sturdy cardboard to ensure it reaches you safely, anywhere in India.
Pikkle Shikkle
I’m Gurdeep Kaur, but everyone just calls me the Punjabi Aunty. I started this in my kitchen when I turned 60, not because I had to, but because I wanted to share the real taste of Punjab. Whether it’s my spicy pickles or sweet jams, it’s all made by hand, with the same recipes I’ve used for years.
