Stronger, faster, and injury-free. My physio-backed programs blend sport-specific movement with functional strength training to help you perform at your absolute best, without a machine in sight.

I design strength and conditioning programs for athletes to boost performance and prevent injuries. This includes dynamic exercises using stability balls, resistance bands, and weights to build sport-specific power and agility.

So proud of this young champion. It's a privilege to work with dedicated athletes, helping them build the physical foundation they need to compete and win.

This is my strong girl Manaswini, a U15 long tennis player. We are working on her upper body and core strength using gymnastic rings, an excellent tool for building stability and power for her sport.

Athlete Aikya Shetty showing incredible core stability and control during a beast hold. This exercise is fantastic for building full-body tension and strength, which is crucial for any sport.

Thursday mornings with the senior players from Arise Badminton Academy. Outdoor fitness sessions like these, with running drills and plyometrics, are perfect for building endurance and explosive power.

For young badminton players, shoulder mobility is crucial for powerful shots and injury prevention. Here, we are working on specific drills to improve range of motion and stability in the shoulder joint.

I regularly assess young athletes for issues like scapular dyskinesis, an altered movement of the shoulder blade. Early detection and corrective exercises can prevent future shoulder injuries and improve performance.

Our work never gets boring because of these amazing young athletes. This video shows a typical group training session on the badminton court, focusing on core work, dynamic movements, and celebrating success.

Here's a glimpse into a strength training session for swimmers with trainer Adarsh. We use resistance bands to work on anti-rotation and core stability, mimicking the demands of their sport.

Training the advanced badminton batch. This session includes high-intensity exercises like battle ropes and pull-ups to develop upper body strength and cardiovascular fitness.

About Strength & Conditioning for Athletes

I don't believe in generic gym plans for athletes. Whether it is correcting shoulder blade mechanics for badminton or building anti-rotation core stability for swimmers, we use manual therapy and targeted drills to fix your biomechanics before adding the heavy load. This is about real movement, zero machines, and getting you back on the court or field stronger than before.

Why Movement Matters

Most traditional gyms focus on 'training the muscles,' but I focus on 'training the athlete.' As a physiotherapist, I look at how you move during your game. If you are a badminton player, we aren't just doing pull-ups; we are working on the shoulder mobility that prevents rotator cuff tears. If you are a runner, we are looking at your gait and ankle stability to keep you injury-free.

My Approach: No Gadgets, Just Gains

When you train with me, you won't find rows of electrical machines or fancy gadgets. We use the tools that force your body to work naturally—resistance bands for tension, stability balls for core engagement, and TRX for functional strength. This is 'prehab' at its core. We catch small imbalances, like scapular dyskinesis (improper shoulder blade movement), before they become nagging pains that keep you sidelined for weeks.

Who I Train

I work with the whole spectrum, from young champions in their U15 stages to senior players looking to maintain their edge. I am often at the badminton court or working with swimmers to mimic the specific demands of their sport.

My programs cover:

  • Biomechanics Analysis: We start by assessing how you move.
  • Performance Conditioning: High-intensity sessions tailored to your specific sport.
  • Injury Prevention: Keeping you game-ready so you can play longer and harder.

If you are ready to stop guessing and start training with intention, let's talk. Namma tribe is all about building a stronger version of you.

I'm Nisha, and I believe athletes are built, not just born. At Body Edit, we look at the whole person—the biomechanics, the recovery, and the mental game—so you can stay on the field and out of the clinic.
