Physiotherapy for Injury and Stroke Recovery
Movement is medicine. Whether you are recovering from a surgery, managing persistent pain, or navigating neuro-rehabilitation, I am here to help you get back on your feet with hands-on, gadget-free therapy.
For clients recovering from a stroke, early and consistent neuro-physiotherapy at home is key. I focus on re-educating primary movement patterns to help overcome paralysis and regain coordination, making daily life easier.
This is the joy of progress. Seeing a client achieve active dorsiflexion (lifting the foot) just two weeks after a stroke is a huge milestone in their neuro-rehabilitation journey.
This video shows the incredible progression of a stroke rehabilitation client from June to January. With consistent effort and targeted exercises, we worked together to rebuild strength and functional movement.
A key part of stroke rehab is functional re-education. Here, we are working on core stability and weight-bearing exercises on the bed to improve balance and prepare for standing and walking.
Recovering from a total knee replacement requires dedicated support. I provide at-home physiotherapy sessions to guide patients through the crucial early stages of rehabilitation, helping them stand, walk, and regain independence safely.
Knee injuries are common in sports like badminton. This session focuses on knee rehabilitation for a young player, using controlled movements to rebuild strength and stability around the joint.
This is Shyla, a 65-year-old client who regained her confidence and quality of life through our therapeutic exercise sessions. She is now able to walk, sit, and climb stairs without the regular cramps she used to experience.
Kinesiology taping is a technique I use to support muscles, reduce pain, and improve awareness of body position. Here I am at a taping workshop, always learning to bring the best techniques to my clients.
About At-Home & In-Clinic Rehabilitation
I do not use electrical machines or passive treatments. My sessions are entirely manual, using soft tissue release and guided movement to help your body heal, whether I am visiting you at home or you are visiting my clinic.
When you choose rehabilitation with me, you are opting for active recovery. My clinics in Padmanabhanagar, Anjanapura, and Chamarajpet are designed for movement, not machines. I avoid electrical devices like TENS or ultrasound because I want you to understand and control your own body mechanics.
Whether you are navigating the early stages of post-stroke rehabilitation, recovering from a total knee replacement, or managing a nagging sports injury, my approach remains consistent. We start with a 1-on-1 assessment to map out your injury history and functional gaps. From there, we move to manual therapy, which includes joint mobilization and soft tissue release to break down scar tissue and improve range of motion.
For stroke survivors, I focus on gait training and re-educating primary movement patterns, often at your home where you feel most comfortable. If you are an athlete dealing with a recurring knee issue, we prioritize biomechanics correction using resistance bands and TRX to build functional stability. My goal is to make recovery easier by giving you safe, effective tools you can use even when I am not there. We do not rush the process; we build strength from scratch, one movement at a time.
