Strength and Performance Training in Bengaluru
I combine traditional yoga with athletic conditioning to help you build functional strength, improve mobility, and recover faster. Let’s train to move better on and off the field.
A strong core is the foundation of all movement. This weighted core exercise is an example of how I integrate gym workouts to build the raw strength that supports a deeper and safer yoga practice, especially for athletes.
Here I am training with a client, focusing on dynamic lunges and movements that build explosive power and stability. This kind of functional training is essential for athletes who need to be quick and agile.
This is Hanuman Dandasan, a traditional Indian exercise that is excellent for strengthening the entire back and core. I incorporate movements like this to build spinal stability and prevent back pain, which is a common issue for many people.
As a trainer, I provide hands on support to ensure my clients maintain proper form and push their limits safely. Here, I am spotting a client during a weighted bench press to help him achieve his strength goals.
A glimpse into my own workout routine, which includes a mix of cardio on the elliptical, weight training, and bodyweight exercises. This balanced approach to fitness is what I bring to my clients for well rounded results.
Building upper body strength is crucial for many yoga poses and overall fitness. A seated dumbbell shoulder press like this helps develop strong, stable shoulders, which is key for inversions and arm balances.
Sometimes you just have to have fun with your workout. This is a quick look at a squat exercise, a fundamental movement for building lower body strength and power.
About Strength & Performance Training
When I train athletes, we don't just stay on the mat. I integrate traditional exercises like Hanuman Dand into our routine, which is an incredible way to build spinal stability and raw core strength. It is a movement that prevents back pain before it starts. If you have been struggling with stiffness or just need that extra bit of explosive power for your sport, this is where we begin.
My approach to Strength and Performance Training is designed for those who need their body to work as hard as their mind. Whether you are a competitive athlete or someone looking to enhance your gym performance, we bridge the gap between yoga and functional fitness.
Why Hybrid Training Matters
Traditional gym workouts can sometimes leave joints feeling tight, while standard yoga might lack the resistance needed for explosive power. I blend the two. We use gym equipment like dumbbells for resistance alongside bodyweight flows to ensure you gain muscle without losing your range of motion.
What We Focus On
- Functional Strength: We move beyond aesthetic muscles to build the kind of strength that actually helps you run faster, lift heavier, or stay agile on the field.
- Injury Prevention: Many injuries happen because of imbalances. We work on your hip mobility, shoulder stability, and spine alignment to keep you safe.
- Recovery & Mobility: Using techniques like PNF (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation) assisted stretching, we help your muscles release lactic acid, so you are ready for your next training session sooner.
Your Session, Your Goals
I travel to your location across Bengaluru, whether that is a private gym, a local sports academy, or your home. I do not believe in one-size-fits-all programming. We start with an assessment of your posture and previous injuries, then create a protocol that fits your specific sport or lifestyle demands. If you are ready to stop guessing and start training with intention, let's connect.
