About this collection

You do not need a partner or an acrobatic background to start. In my sessions, we focus on the three pillars of Acro Yoga—the base, the flyer, and the spotter—so you learn how to support and communicate with others. Most people come alone, and we rotate partners frequently to keep the vibe friendly, inclusive, and safe.

Think of these sessions less like a rigid class and more like a Sunday jam. We spend the first part of the workshop breaking down the mechanics of the poses—getting comfortable with weight distribution and balance—before moving into the fun stuff. My goal is to get you comfortable with the process, which inevitably includes some wobbles and a lot of laughter.

I treat safety as the most important part of the practice. We use spotting techniques to ensure that no matter what pose we are attempting, everyone feels secure. Whether we are in a studio or outdoors at a spot like Cubbon Park, the focus remains on building trust and connection.

It is common to feel a bit of panic when you first go upside down or try a new balance. That is perfectly normal. We work through that fear together, one step at a time. By the end of a session, the goal is not to have perfected a complex sequence, but to have learned how to listen to your partner and your own body. If you are curious about trying this but feel intimidated, just know that I was not born flexible either. We will figure it out together.
