About this collection
Most people think yoga is a silent, solo discipline, but acro yoga is about realizing we are stronger when we rely on each other. You do not need a partner to join; the community here will support you as you learn to base or fly, turning a simple exercise into a practice of mutual trust and non-verbal communication.
Acro yoga is where we strip away the daily noise and simply play. In our sessions at Indiranagar, HSR, and AECS Layout, you will find a space where titles do not matter. When you engage in these partner flows, you are forced to be present—you cannot be distracted by your phone or your to-do list when you are responsible for another person's balance.
Our instructors guide you through the basics of safety and spotting before you ever attempt a lift. We prioritize the 'base' and 'flyer' dynamic, ensuring everyone understands the mechanics of weight distribution and alignment. It is not just about physical strength; it is about learning to communicate with your partner. Whether you are working on a simple stacked plank or preparing for a dynamic transition, the goal remains the same: a 24-hour smile.
Many of our students start with hesitation, wondering if they are flexible or strong enough to participate. You do not need to be an athlete to start. We break down every movement into manageable, safe steps. If you are looking for a way to break the ice with new friends in Bangalore or just want to experience the liberating feeling of being lifted, come join us for a session. It is time to stop chasing success in a spreadsheet and start finding it in your community.
Bodhi School of Yoga
I started Bodhi to remind us that we are not meant to struggle through life alone. In my studio, we use partner practices to break the ice and build a tribe that lifts each other up—literally and metaphorically. Come by, let go of the ego, and let's play.
