Come breathe and play with clay in the heart of Khar West. Whether you are curious about your first spin on the wheel or looking for a calm space to craft, my studio is a home for every kind of creative journey.

Welcome to Mitti Space. Here, we slow down, get our hands messy, and find joy in the simple act of making. This is a little glimpse into our everyday, a place filled with laughter, learning, and the quiet hum of the potter's wheel.

This is the beautiful result of just letting go and playing with clay. I love seeing the pride and happiness on a student's face when they see all their creations from the beginner's course laid out. Each piece tells a story of their unique journey.

There is something so magical about the potter's wheel. It’s a dance between your hands and the mitti. Here, I am guiding a student through the collaring process, gently shaping the clay upwards and inwards. It’s all about listening to the clay and not forcing it.

This octopus vase is a piece of my heart. It started as a simple wheel-thrown form, and then I spent hours sculpting each tentacle, giving it life and movement. This is what I love about hand-building, the slowness and the storytelling.

Our 'A Date with Mitti' sessions are for anyone looking to connect and create together. It’s not about perfection, but about sharing a quiet, creative evening, making memories with your hands covered in clay. It’s one of my favorite things to host in the studio.

The Nerikomi technique is like painting with colored clay. This stunning piece, with its wavy lines and bold checks, was made by an advanced student. It shows how you can develop your own unique style once you master the basics.

This is where the learning happens. I guide each student, helping them feel the movement of the clay on the wheel. It’s a partnership, and my goal is to help you find your own rhythm and confidence.

This isn't a distant planet, but a close-up of glaze under a microscope. The kiln creates these tiny, magical universes on every piece. It’s a beautiful reminder of the chemistry and wonder hidden within pottery.

And this is Silky, our studio's furry zen master. He brings so much calm and joy to the space, often supervising classes from his favorite spot on the table. He is a beloved part of the Mitti family.

A look back at four years of Mitti Space. From a small dream to a bustling community, this studio has been shaped by every person who has walked through its doors. I am so grateful for this journey and for everyone who has been a part of it.

About Featured

When you start, the biggest decision is choosing between the meditative pace of hand-building or the focused energy of the wheel. I always recommend beginners start with a one-time session to feel how the clay behaves under your fingers, as the experience is completely different depending on the technique you pick.
