About Featured
When you visit my studio, you are not just observing; you are learning the entire cycle from wedging to glazing. Because each piece requires careful drying and two separate kiln firings to become food-safe, please keep in mind that your creations will be ready for collection approximately three weeks after your session.
My studio in Prabhadevi, located right across from the Siddhivinayak Temple, is a space where I share the 'Maati Putr' philosophy — that we are crafted by Earth. This collection highlights the diverse aspects of my work, ranging from the delicate art of sgraffito carving to the robust, functional ceramics I make for daily rituals.
The Pottery Experience
Whether you are looking for a one-time trial or a structured beginner course, the process remains the same. You start with a raw lump of clay, prepping and centering it on the wheel before shaping it into a mug, bowl, or vase. For those who prefer working with their hands, I offer hand-building sessions that use techniques like coiling and slab construction to create unique forms.
