Handmade Ceramics and Pottery Collection
These pieces are a window into my world at Mitti. Each one carries a story, from the initial spin on the wheel to the final fire in the kiln. Take a look at the ceramics I create in my Khar West studio.
The colors on this pitcher make it one of my favorite pieces. The way the glazes melted and flowed in the kiln created these yummy flashes of blue, purple, and yellow. It’s pure kiln magic.

I get very attached to some pieces, and this octopus vase is one of them. I love the challenge of sculpting something so detailed and full of life onto a wheel-thrown form.

About From My Hands to Yours
Every piece here tells a story of patience. Whether it is the intricate sgraffito etching or the way glazes like flux blossom melt together in the kiln, no two items are exactly alike. When you hold these, you are feeling the specific choices I made during the throwing and firing process in my studio.
My approach to ceramics is rooted in the idea of slow creation. I do not aim for mass production. Instead, I focus on the conversation between the clay and my hands. You will see this in the unique textures and colors that emerge after the firing process.
I work primarily with high-fire stoneware clay, chosen for its durability and tactile quality. The glazing process is where the real magic happens. I experiment with layering different glazes, like the Amaco series, allowing them to flow and react during the intense heat of the kiln. This results in those unexpected flashes of blue, purple, and green that you see in my pitchers and mugs.
Techniques like sgraffito, where I carve through a layer of colored slip to reveal the clay beneath, require a steady hand and a clear vision before the firing. It is a labor of love. Each vessel, from the large octopus vases to my daily-use mugs, is thrown, trimmed, and finished with the same attention.
If you see a style you like or want a custom piece designed for your home, I am open to commissions. Since every piece is handmade, slight variations are part of the charm, not flaws. If you have questions about dimensions, glaze durability, or pricing for a specific item, let us chat.
Mitti Space
Hey, I am Kosha. Clay was not the plan, but it found me. These pieces are my personal diary of sorts, a mix of wheel-thrown precision and the quiet joy of hand-building. Every time you pick one up, you are holding a piece of my studio process.
