About this collection
My 70-hour training is designed to be a bridge between traditional study and your daily life. It combines in-person intensive sessions at our Westend Colony studio with online tutorials, ensuring you get both the physical adjustment corrections and the theoretical understanding of sequencing. We keep the groups small and personal, so the focus is entirely on your development, not just checking boxes on a certification form.
The curriculum is built on the T. Krishnamacharya tradition, specifically the Vinyasa Krama method. It is the same framework that has guided my own practice for over two decades. This training moves beyond simple physical poses to explore the logic behind how we move and breathe.
What we cover
- Vinyasa Krama Sequencing: You will learn to design sessions with intention, efficiency, and safety. We teach you to adapt the practice, not just mimic a routine.
- Yin Yoga: We integrate passive, meditative holds to target deep connective tissues, fascia, and joints, offering a perfect balance to dynamic (Yang) styles.
- Pranayama & Philosophy: Breathwork is a core pillar here. We explore the precise rules and rhythms of Pranayama, alongside the Yoga Sutras, to ensure your teaching is grounded in philosophy, not just technique.
- Anatomy & Adaptation: You will gain the ability to adapt asanas for injuries, joint issues, or specific health needs, a skill essential for any responsible teacher.
Why this format works
I have seen many teachers graduate with a certificate but struggle to teach a real, live class. This hybrid format gives you the structure you need to build a consistent daily ritual. We focus on the why of the practice—why we choose specific movements, how to handle the nervous system, and how to create a sacred space for your students. By the end of the course, you aren't just certified; you have the tools to construct a session that truly serves the individual. Whether you join us in-person or dive into the self-paced materials, you are stepping into a community that prioritizes authentic growth over trend-based yoga.
Mini Shastri
I started Om YogaShala to create a space where yoga feels like a conversation, not a performance. My teaching is deeply rooted in the Krishnamacharya lineage, but I adapt it for real life in Delhi—because I know exactly what it is like to balance a busy mind with the need for stillness.
