About this collection
Pictures capture the finish line, but my coaching focuses on everything that happens before it. Whether you are struggling with shin splints or simply want to run without feeling exhausted, we start by looking at your gait and fixing your mechanics at our HSR Layout base. A good session is not about how hard you push, but how smart you train.
The 'Running Life' is not just about logging kilometers. It is a discipline that changes your lifestyle. When I work with you, we get past the surface-level photos and focus on the mechanics that keep you injury-free and consistent.
Why Form Matters
Most runners treat running as something you just 'do.' But poor form leads to inefficient energy use and injury. During our sessions at HSR Layout or Agara Lake, I look at your gait, your foot strike, and your arm swing. We break down the mechanics to fix overstriding and hip drops. It is not about speed right away; it is about efficiency.
Building the Habit
Consistency is the only secret. My programs are designed to fit your current reality, whether you are a beginner joining our 'Back to Basics' sessions or a marathoner preparing for a specific race. We use a mix of:
- Strength & Conditioning: To build the resilience required for high-mileage running.
- Technical Drills: A-Skips, B-Skips, and plyometrics to improve your cadence.
- Data Review: For remote runners, I analyze your Strava logs and performance feedback to adjust your intensity weekly.
