I am Vikas, and I am here to simplify running. Whether you are lacing up for your first kilometer or chasing a new personal best, my coaching focuses on correct technique, injury prevention, and the power of a supportive community.
I am a coach with Adidas Runners, and my goal is to simplify running for you. Whether you're chasing a personal best or just starting, I provide structured guidance to help you run safely and effectively.
I often tell my runners that there is no single "right" way to run, but there is always a safe way. My coaching focuses on teaching you techniques to ensure you can run safely and enjoy it for a very long time.
This is our crew. As part of the Adidas Runners Bengaluru community, you're joining a massive family of motivated individuals. We train together for major events like the TCS World 10k and support each other every step of the way.
This is what a two year transformation looks like. Through consistent work on running form and dedicated training, we see incredible progress. I believe in the long term journey and celebrating every lesson learned along the way.
My coaching is about more than just running. We build all around fitness with strength sessions and even use swimming for active recovery. This is from our 'With Women We Run' initiative, creating a safe and inclusive space for female athletes.
Good form is the foundation of efficient, injury free running. I work closely with each runner to analyze and correct their technique, helping them run faster with less effort.
New to running? My 'Back to Basics' program is the perfect place to start. Held on the first Saturday of every month, it's a pressure free session designed to introduce you to the fundamentals of running in a supportive group.
About this collection
Most runners focus only on distance, but form is where the real gains happen. In our HSR Layout sessions, we use slow-motion video analysis to identify inefficiencies like overstriding or hip drops, making sure your training actually makes you faster rather than just tiring you out.
Running is simple, but doing it right takes discipline. My philosophy is built on three pillars: safety, consistency, and community. We don't just run; we train.
Why Form Matters
Every Wednesday at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Stadium, we break down your gait. If you are overstriding or fighting against your own mechanics, you are building injuries, not fitness. We use specific drills like A-Skips, B-Skips, and band activation to correct your movement patterns so you run with less effort.
Tailored Programs
If you are new to the sport, join my 'Back to Basics' session at Agara Lake on the first Saturday of every month. For those chasing a 10K or a full marathon, my 12-week race prep packages cover everything from pace targeting and hydration strategy to taper phases. I also provide remote coaching if you prefer a structured, data-driven plan delivered to your phone.
