Running Roadies: Bengaluru’s Community for Group Running
Running alone gets boring, yaar. We’re a Bengaluru family that runs, volunteers, and celebrates every finish line together—from Sunday jogs at Cubbon Park to long-distance ultras.
We are the Running Roadies! This is what our family looks like. A diverse group of people brought together by the simple joy of running. We are all about energy, support, and having a great time together on the road.
Ever wonder why we run? We asked our members, and their answers are the real motivation. From fitness and mental health to friendship and feeling alive, everyone has a reason. This is the heart of our community.
That feeling of pure joy and energy on a trail run is unbeatable. This is what it’s all about, pushing your limits with a smile on your face, surrounded by nature. This was during the tough but beautiful Hennur Bamboo Ultra.
Who says fitness has to be serious? We believe in having fun and bringing out the inner child in all of us. Our meetups often include fun games and activities that leave everyone laughing and energized.
Giving back is a big part of who we are. Here we are, managing a water station at the TCS World 10K, making sure every runner is hydrated and cheered on. We bring the energy, the music, and the support.
We take care of our own. Here, one of our members gets hands-on practice during a CPR and Basic Life Support workshop. We believe in being prepared and making our community safer for everyone.
Race day with the gang! Here are some of our boys after crossing the finish line at the TCS World 10K Bengaluru. There is nothing like the feeling of achieving a goal together and celebrating with your medals.
We don't just run in the day. This was our epic 140km intercity relay run from Bengaluru to Mysuru. Running through the night as a team is a different kind of spiritual experience, a true test of endurance and teamwork.
About Featured
We don't believe in clubs with complicated rules or entry barriers. Just show up on a Sunday morning at Cubbon Park or Kanteerava Stadium in your regular gear. Whether you are aiming for your first 5k or training for an ultra, you will always find a pacer and a friendly face to run alongside.
Running isn't just about the miles for us; it’s about the mindset. When we started, the goal was simple: kill the boredom of solo running by building a tribe that actually supports each other. That’s how Running Roadies became what it is today—a cyan-blue wave across Bengaluru’s biggest marathons and quietest morning trails.
What Our Runs Look Like
Our calendar is packed, but never rigid. We host weekly meetups, alternating between track workouts at Sri Kanteerava Stadium, hill repeats at Lalbagh, and those classic, breezy jogs through Cubbon Park. If you’re training for a big event like the TCS World 10K or a grueling ultra, we have group recces and peer-led pacing to help you prep.
More Than Just Mileage
We treat fitness as a holistic effort. We organize CPR and Basic Life Support workshops, host annual sports days with relay races, and even head out for intercity relay runs like our 140km Bengaluru-Mysuru run. We’re also the loud, cheering crew you see at major events, managing hydration stations and keeping spirits high.
Who Fits In?
Everyone. If you can move, you can run with us. There is no performance barrier here. Whether you’re a pro looking to crush a personal best or someone just trying to get out of bed for a Sunday jog, you belong. We provide the motivation, the hydration support, and the WhatsApp group; you just bring your energy. No fees, no drama—just consistent effort and a lot of post-run banter over breakfast.
Running Roadies
I started this group because solo running just wasn't cutting it. We’re a bunch of people in Bengaluru who prioritize consistency over competition, always pushing each other to do one more loop.
