Strength & Conditioning for Combat Athletes
Crosstrain Fight Club
I train fighters for real strength that works in the cage or on the mat, using compound lifts and routines built for actual competition—not just for looks.

About Strength & Conditioning for Combat Athletes
Why I Train Combat Athletes
Main simple bolta hu (I’ll keep it straight). Most gym workouts? Waste of time for fighters. Aaj gym mein khush, ghar pahunchte hi thus (Happy at the gym, deflated at home). Fighters need real, functional strength—not just muscles that look good for selfies. When you get strong, speed, power, and stability come along for the ride.
Who Should Train With Me
If you’re into MMA, BJJ, Grappling, or Wrestling and want strength that shows up in the cage or on the mat, this is for you. No bodybuilding fluff, no useless routines. I focus on functional strength training for grapplers and fighters who actually compete.
How I Build Real Strength
- Basics work best. We stick to compound lifts: Deadlift, Squat, Bench Press. These are the core.
- Smart assistance work like Lat Pulldowns, Rows, Pull-ups. Sab kuch purpose se (Everything with intent).
- No “get tired for the sake of it” workouts. You’ll lift heavy and you’ll lift right.
What a Session Looks Like
Sample Deadlift Day:
- Warm-up with light squats to get moving
- Deadlift progression—form first, then weight
- Heavy singles for explosive power development for MMA
- Assistance lifts, 3-5 sets, to back up the main strength
More Than Just Lifting
Lifestyle matters. I’ll push you on habits—nutrition (intermittent fasting, if you’re up for it), sleep, recovery. You’ll be a better athlete in and out of the gym.
Why Trust Me?
I’ve worked with top-level fighters like Anshu Jubli (UFC) and Tarun Yadav (National Jujutsu Champ). Their results speak for themselves. If you want strength routines for cage fighters that actually work, I’ve got your back.

My Story
Main Gaurav hoon, MMA fighter and BJJ player. Bachpan se martial arts karta aa raha hoon. National aur State grappling jeeta hai, ASJJF gold, ADCC silver bhi. Crosstrain Fight Club mere liye gym nahi, family hai. Pehle mujhe striking sab kuch lagta tha, phir BJJ coach ne ground pe ragdoll bana diya. Tab se BJJ hi best hai mere liye. Wrestling ya striking? Bhool jao, BJJ is life.
My Work
What I teach - Personalized MMA coaching, BJJ, grappling, strength training for fighters, and kids self-defense classes.
My training style - No ego, lots of competition, learn by tapping. Experience matters, not just technique.
Strength first - Lift heavy, train for real strength. Pump routines waste time. Tagda banna hai toh heavy uthao.
Simple eating - No fancy diets. Intermittent fasting for athletes is what actually works for me.
Home workouts - No gym? Koi dikkat nahi. BJJ home workouts, running, skipping, pushups, pullups—sab kuch kar sakte ho.
