I turn nutrition into a practical life skill, moving beyond textbooks to help students and teachers understand the 'Rainbow Diet' and make smarter, healthier food choices every day.

Back to basics with a chalkboard. Here, I'm outlining the '6-colour concept' or rainbow diet, and explaining the five essential food groups to students in a classroom setting.

An interactive session with school students where I explain the 'rainbow diet'. I ask them to name foods for each color, making the learning process engaging and memorable.

During a workshop with school students, I often start by asking about common health issues they face, like frequent colds or low energy. This helps me tailor the session to their specific needs and concerns.

A practical activity with students to help them identify healthy versus unhealthy snacks. Here, I'm discussing the hidden sugars and fats in popular packaged foods.

Celebrating the winners of a nutrition-based activity at a government school. Rewarding participation and knowledge helps reinforce healthy habits in a positive way.

Addressing a large group of students in the schoolyard. My goal is to reach as many young people as possible with the message of healthy, mindful eating.

A wellness activity in progress at a government school. Practical, hands-on sessions are far more effective than just lectures, especially for younger audiences.

An attentive classroom of girls during a health and wellness session. I focus on topics particularly relevant to them, empowering them with knowledge about their own bodies.

Explaining a concept to students. I use simple language and relatable examples to ensure the information is easy to digest and apply in their daily lives.

Presenting a certificate to a student for his active participation in the workshop. Encouragement is a key part of my teaching philosophy.

About Nutrition Education for Schools & Colleges

Most students hear 'eat healthy' and tune out, but they listen when you show them the sugar content in their favorite packet snacks. My sessions are about turning dry theory into a game where students learn to identify the six colors of the 'rainbow diet' in their own kitchen, making wellness an everyday habit rather than a boring lecture.

Students are bombarded with ads for processed food. My job is to give them the tools to see past the marketing and understand what their bodies actually need.

How I Structure My Sessions

I don't believe in long, one-sided lectures. I keep things interactive because that is the only way the message sticks. My sessions usually involve:

  • Myth Busting: We tackle the confusion around Indian superfoods like ghee and why carbs are not the enemy.
  • The Rainbow Diet: I teach students to look for six specific colors in their meals—red, orange, yellow, green, blue/purple, and white—to ensure they get a full spectrum of nutrients from their daily dal-sabzi.
  • Label Reading: We actually pick up common packaged snacks and look at the ingredient lists together. It is usually an eye-opening moment when they see how much hidden sugar is in their 'healthy' snacks.

Why This Matters

When I work with schools, my goal is to help teachers and students understand that healthy eating is not about restriction. It is about energy management. A student who knows how to fuel their body with the right balance of proteins and fats is more focused in class and less prone to the midday fatigue that plagues so many.

Collaborative Wellness

I often collaborate with yoga trainers and psychologists to bring a complete wellness approach to your campus. Whether you need a short workshop to address a specific health concern or a half-day event to introduce students to body composition analysis and mindful eating, I am here to facilitate. My sessions are designed to be relatable, practical, and highly engaging for all age groups.

I started Foods4Life because watching kids struggle with fatigue and health issues didn't sit right with me. My goal is to make healthy living simple and relatable, helping students connect the food on their plate to how they feel in the classroom.
