Holistic Yoga, Strength, and Nutrition Coaching
I combine traditional Hatha yoga with modern functional fitness and mindful nutrition. Here is a glimpse into how I help my students build stability, core power, and lasting health in Bengaluru.
I believe in exploring the body's potential through dedicated practice. This advanced asana demonstrates the flexibility and strength we can build together, always honoring the principle of 'Sthiram Sukham Asanam', finding stability and ease in every pose.
My coaching combines ancient yogic wisdom with modern fitness. Here you can see a typical full-body workout sequence, incorporating kettlebell swings and dumbbell squats to build functional strength and improve body composition.
Core strength is fundamental, especially for women as we age. A strong core supports posture, prevents back pain, and improves balance. Here, I am demonstrating a dead hang, an effective exercise for building grip and core stability.
The Surya Namaskar, or Sun Salutation, is a cornerstone of a yogic journey. This video shows the flow in my Bangalore studio, a sequence that offers a complete body workout, improves circulation, and brings mental clarity.
My philosophy is to look beyond the number on the scale. This graphic explains the concept of body composition, showing how two people with the same weight can have different levels of muscle and fat, which is a truer indicator of health.
Consistency is everything. This photo captures my personal commitment during a 30-day challenge of 108 Surya Namaskars. I practice what I preach, showing that dedication is the path to a healthier, more balanced lifestyle.
There's nothing like an early morning, open-air session. Here, my students and I are practicing pranayama, or breathwork, on a rooftop in Bangalore. This practice is incredible for improving respiratory health and calming the mind.
About Featured
The most common mistake I see is separating fitness from mental well-being. My sessions, whether online or at my Kaggadasapura studio, integrate Hatha flow with functional strength training and mindful nutrition. We prioritize your specific needs—from rehabilitating injuries to building core stability—to ensure you actually enjoy the process.
My Holistic Approach
Fitness is not about punishment or quick fixes. It is about 'Sthiram Sukham Asanam'—finding stability and comfort in your practice. When you train with me, we look at the complete picture. This means we balance traditional Hatha and Vinyasa flows with functional movements like kettlebell swings or dead hangs to improve your bone density and muscle mass.
How We Work Together
I believe 80% of your health is built in the kitchen. My nutrition coaching is not about starving; it is about mindful choices based on your body composition and lifestyle.
- Hybrid Online Coaching: We meet 5 days a week via Zoom for a mix of Hatha Yoga and strength training, supported by personalized nutrition plans.
- In-Studio Sessions: Visit my studio in Kaggadasapura, Bengaluru, for tactile posture corrections and equipment-based training using props like yoga blocks and dumbbells.
- Therapeutic Coaching: For those dealing with specific concerns like PCOS, Thyroid issues, or injury rehabilitation, I design 1-on-1 programs that use M.Sc Yoga Therapy techniques to support your recovery without strain.
Why Consistency Matters
Change is the only constant. Whether you are a beginner looking to improve flexibility or a woman in her 40s focusing on core strength, the goal is simple: stay consistent. I provide the guidance and accountability, but the transformation happens when you show up for yourself. My role is to make sure you have the tools, the support, and the knowledge to make this a sustainable way of living.
