Yoga Everywhere: Practicing Beyond the Mat

My yoga practice doesn't stop at the studio door. Whether I’m at the airport or trekking in the mountains, yoga is about finding stillness in motion, anywhere in the world.

Adiyogi: the source of yoga. Practicing a handstand in front of this powerful statue is a humbling and inspiring experience.

In his Abode. A moment of peace and flexibility, practicing Hanumanasana at the Adiyogi Chikkaballapur.

Grace in stillness. Holding Trivikramasana by the sacred Ganges river in Varanasi was a deeply spiritual moment, connecting my practice to the land of Shiva.

In this scorpion handstand, touching the foot to the head symbolizes enlightenment. Practicing in front of this ancient temple adds a layer of history and devotion.

Same balance, new place. Taking my handstand practice to the beach in Varanasi at sunset was a beautiful adventure.

Balancing before boarding. A quick handstand at the airport is a fun reminder that yoga can be practiced anywhere, anytime.

I love taking my handstand practice outdoors, especially while trekking. Every fall just brings you closer to sticking the landing.

Can't leave a place without doing this. A quick arm balance in the park is a fun way to interact with the environment.

Mayurasana is my all-time favorite pose, and I do it wherever I go, especially on this beautiful rock at a temple with my buddy.

Exploring the village after the rain, I stumbled upon this stunning view and had to do a handstand. The connection to nature was incredible.

About Yoga Everywhere: On the Mat & Beyond

When practicing away from the studio, I often use furniture or natural features to scale my drills. If you are traveling or lack a formal home setup, we can use your current environment to keep your progress moving—we do not need a gym to work on wrist conditioning or core alignment. You just need the willingness to show up.

Yoga isn't just about the quiet corners of a studio. Some of my most challenging, and rewarding, moments have happened in public spaces—from airports to the sacred grounds near the Ganges. When you strip away the familiar props and the perfect floor, you are left with only your breath and your balance.

This approach helps you develop a practice that is adaptable. If you are learning handstands or working on deep backbends, you might feel like you need perfect conditions to succeed. I am here to teach you otherwise. My goal is to help you build a routine that fits your life, not the other way around.

How we can work together

  • Remote Technique Sessions: We connect via video to break down biomechanics. Whether you are dealing with a plateau in your handstand or need help with wrist mobility, we analyze your form and adjust your drills so you can practice safely on your own.

  • In-Person Coaching: If you are based in Bengaluru, I provide hands-on spotting and tactile adjustments. This is crucial for high-risk entries or deep stretches where having a second pair of hands ensures you stay injury-free.

We focus on the foundations—alignment, core engagement, and safe exits—so that wherever you lay your mat, you know how to practice with intelligence. Whether you are a beginner looking for your first stable hold or an experienced practitioner wanting to clean up your transitions, let’s get to work.
