Student Dedication and Progress at Damo Shaolin
Martial arts is not about instant results. It is about the consistency of showing up, day after day. Here, we honor the students who commit to the path of discipline.

About Student Dedication & Progress
True progress in Kung Fu takes time. When a student stands here to receive recognition, it is not for a single move or a lucky day. It represents months of Ma Bu stance training, repeated form practice, and the discipline to continue when the body is tired. Whether you are aiming for Sanda sparring or simple fitness, your journey here is marked by how you handle the basics.
The Path of Discipline
At Damo Shaolin Kung Fu School, we do not hand out accolades for attendance. Recognition comes from the sweat and hours poured into the dojo floor. Whether a student is mastering a basic punch or completing an advanced form like Shaolin Tong Bi Quan, the focus remains on 'Skill Over Show.'
Why Consistency Matters
- Foundation: We start with stance work. Without a solid Ma Bu, the rest of the form will crumble. Progress is defined by how well you hold your ground.
- Repetition: As I often say, repetition is the mother of skill. If you are struggling with a technique, it is not a lack of talent, it is a lack of repetition. Keep training.
- Internal Growth: We track progress not just by physical kicks or punches, but by the calm you bring to the studio. Xiu Xin Yang Shen (cultivating the heart) is part of our curriculum.
Training in Shahpur Jat

We welcome students from all walks of life, provided they are willing to put in the work.
