Real progress in martial arts begins with the body. We focus on the basics: conditioning, stance work, and flexibility to prepare you for everything that follows.

Here I am assisting a student with a weighted conditioning exercise. This builds immense lower body and core strength, which is the source of power in Shaolin martial arts. Her determination shows great progress.

A student works on a strength exercise using a bench and weights. I am instructing her to keep her body weight back to ensure the correct muscles are engaged for maximum benefit and safety.

This is a static stance exercise. Holding these postures builds endurance, mental focus, and structural integrity. It is a simple but very difficult part of basic training.

The text in this video says it all: "The mother of skill is repetition of any basic technique." Here, a student practices a basic arm movement repeatedly to perfect her form.

This collage shows different aspects of Kung Fu stance training. From low stances to stretching, these foundational poses are practiced daily to build strength and flexibility.

With scientific training methods, a full 360-degree stretch is achievable. This level of flexibility prevents injury and allows for a greater range of motion in all techniques.

A student holds a perfect front split on the training mat. This demonstrates the results that come from consistent and correct stretching, a key component of our conditioning program.

About Foundational Strength & Flexibility

In my classes, I often correct students by saying 'Body weight peeche rahega' because structural integrity is the first step to power. We do not rush. Whether we are drilling Ma Bu stances or working on full splits, the goal is to condition the muscles and joints correctly so you move with intention.

True strength is not about lifting the heaviest weight. It is about understanding how to use your body. My training focuses on the foundational pillars of Shaolin Kung Fu: conditioning, flexibility, and stance work.

We spend a significant amount of time on static exercises. Holding a posture is simple in concept but difficult in practice. It builds mental focus and structural alignment. We use scientific training methods to safely improve your range of motion, aiming for full 360-degree stretches. This is how we prevent injury and create the foundation for advanced techniques.

You will see us working on Iron forearm drills and repetitive movements. This is because repetition is the mother of skill. If you are training at our Shahpur Jat studio, do not expect a gym atmosphere. You will find impact-absorbing mats, wooden dummies, and a space dedicated to serious practice. Whether you join our weekday batches or weekend intensives, the approach remains the same. We break down every movement, correcting posture and skeletal alignment, ensuring you build the capacity for harder training, like Sanda or traditional forms, without shortcuts.
