The Baker's Story & My Process
I am Janice, a former surgeon turned baker. This is how I keep my Amma's legacy alive, using only real, fresh ingredients to create bakes that taste as honest as they look.

About this collection
Every cake I create is made from scratch in my studio using real butter, fresh cream, and seasonal fruits. I moved from the operating theater to the kitchen to ensure that no synthetic ingredients or premixes ever touch your order. When you pick a flavor, you are getting pure, honest quality, just like the cakes I grew up eating.
Moving from my life as a surgeon to the kitchen might seem like a drastic pivot, but for me, it feels like a natural evolution. After my mother passed, baking became my way of holding onto her memory. That chocolate cake she used to make was not just a dessert, it was a feeling. That is exactly what I aim to capture in every order from my New BEL Road studio.
I do not use synthetic creams, pre-made mixes, or artificial essences. Whether it is a batch of bombolinis or a multi-tier wedding creation, I insist on Belgian chocolate, fresh Alphonso mangoes, and real dairy cream. My process starts with sourcing the best seasonal produce. If it is not good enough for my son, Nirvaan, it is not going into your box.
Customization is at the heart of what I do. You are not just picking a flavor profile from a list. We work together to design something that fits your specific celebration. If you want a specific theme or a dietary accommodation, be it egg-free, jowar-based, or keto, I build the recipe from the ground up to ensure it tastes as good as it looks. Every step, from the initial consultation to the careful packaging that ensures your cake survives Bengaluru traffic, is handled with the same precision I once used for surgery.
