Why I Bake Healthy
I started baking because I believe nobody should feel left out at celebrations, no matter their diet. Everything I do comes from my Amma’s kitchen - real food, no shortcuts, and a lot of heart. I’m a surgeon by day, so yeah, a bit fussy about quality and keeping things clean.
What Makes My Bakes Different
- Healthy shouldn’t taste boring. I’ve worked hard to make sure my cakes and brownies are just as tasty as the regular ones.
- I use jaggery and other natural sweeteners - no refined sugar here.
- Flours? No maida. Only jowar, millet, almond flour, all fresh.
- Most items are available gluten-free, egg-free, or vegan. Keto people, I got you too - proper low-carb, zero sugar treats.
- Everything is made from scratch in namma Bengaluru. No premixes, no fake essences, only real stuff like Belgian cocoa and Alphonso mangoes.

My Story
Can you imagine? I used to stitch up people, now I whip up cakes! Amma’s chocolate cake was legendary at home, and after she left us, it’s like she’s guiding me every time I bake. ‘Mom’s Chocolate Cake’ is all her magic, just in my oven. Juggling Nirvaan, my little hurricane, and CookieDust is wild but I wouldn’t trade it. That Bangalore’s Favourite Home Baker award? Still feels unreal. My cakes, my story, all heart.
