Meet Basant, our Athlete of the Month. In just 1.5 months, she went from zero experience in Olympic lifts to squatting with weights and hitting a 75kg hip thrust. Her progress is a testament to her hard work and the supportive environment here.

Our Saturday weightlifting class is dedicated to learning technical movements. Here, our members are practicing the snatch, starting with PVC pipes to drill the correct positions before moving to the barbell.

About Our Community: The AFC Squad

The biggest difference between training alone and training here is the environment. When you're struggling on that last heavy set, you'll look to your left and see someone else putting in the same effort. We don't do 'gym bros'—we do partner workouts where your pace pushes the person next to you. It is hard work, but you won't be doing it by yourself.
