I'm working with a young boxer on the pads, focusing on his form and power. This direct feedback is crucial for developing clean technique and confidence in his punches.

Teaching the fundamental jab-jab-cross combination on the pads. This drill builds muscle memory and ensures the boxer's punches are sharp and accurate.

About Building the Fighter: Technique & Pad Work

On the pads, there is nowhere to hide. I watch your every movement, your stance, and the snap in your punch to correct your form instantly. It is not about looking pretty, it is about making your movements precise and effective so you can handle yourself in any fight.

Repetition is the mother of skill, but only if you are practicing the right movements. In this program, I personally hold the pads to guide your hands, feet, and head movement. Whether we are in Burari or our Defence Colony facility, the focus is the same: building muscle memory that holds up when you are tired or under pressure.

Why Pad Work Matters

Many gyms let you punch the bag until you are exhausted. That builds stamina, but it does not fix your technique. When you work with me on the pads, I am looking for the flaws you do not see. Are you dropping your lead hand? Is your chin tucked? Are you shifting your weight correctly? I will correct these habits before they become permanent. We drill the fundamental jab, cross, hook, and uppercut combinations until they become instinctive.

The Training Philosophy

My academy is a no-frills environment. We do not have AC or fancy lights because real boxing is about the grind. You will get tired, you will sweat, and you will work harder than you thought possible. My students learn to be 'Khadku'—a term I use for those who have the courage to stand their ground. We use traditional desi methods for conditioning and focus on the mental aspect of boxing as much as the physical. If you are ready to put in the work and stop making excuses, you will see real changes in your strength, discipline, and defensive reflexes.
