We bring the energy of Capoeira out of the studio and into public spaces, creating a space for everyone to move, play, and connect through Brazilian music and movement.

A glimpse from BeatFest, an open community event by the bay. We love bringing Capoeira to public spaces, inviting everyone from kids to grandparents to join in the music and movement.

An open workshop at the Bandra Steps. These community sessions are all about fun and participation, giving everyone a chance to try Capoeira in a relaxed, outdoor setting.

A large group participates in our animal walk warm-ups at the Blooming Green Festival. It's a fantastic icebreaker that gets everyone laughing and ready to move.

Fun and games at a Capoeira Festival. We use playful exercises, like this game with balloons, to teach core Capoeira concepts of movement, timing, and awareness.

We collaborate with other wellness experts for events like the Flow Fest. This retreat is for anyone looking to connect with a playful community and explore movement in a beautiful natural setting.

More joy from BeatFest. You can see the pure fun as kids and adults alike become 'capoeiristas' for a day, playing and dancing to the beat of the drums.

Our instructor plays with some of the youngest participants at a community drum jam. Capoeira is truly for all ages, promoting confidence and coordination in a fun way.

About this collection

You don't need prior martial arts experience or specific fitness levels to join these sessions. Whether we are at a local festival or a park promenade, we focus on simple 'animal walks' and rhythm-based movement that gets everyone—from toddlers to seniors—laughing, clapping, and moving together within minutes.

When we take Capoeira into public spaces, we are not just teaching kicks; we are creating a living, breathing circle known as the Roda. This is where the magic happens. We strip away the intimidating 'fight' aspect and replace it with a physical conversation.

In these open workshops, you will see toddlers mimicking their parents, music lovers catching the beat of the Berimbau, and total strangers eventually finding a rhythm together. We use playful drills and live drum jams to break down barriers. The goal is simple: to make sure that by the end of the session, you feel like you belong to the tribe, regardless of whether you have been training for years or just walked in off the street.

We provide all the instruments, like the Pandeiro and Atabaque, and teach the basic call-and-response songs in Portuguese. It is an immersive, high-energy experience designed to be the highlight of any community gathering or cultural festival. If you are looking for a way to bring genuine, wholesome interaction to your neighborhood or event, this is it.

I'm Ravi, and for me, Capoeira is less of a combat sport and more of a conversation we have with our bodies. I love watching that moment in a community jam when someone who's never tried it before suddenly gets the rhythm and starts to play. It's not about being the strongest; it's about being the most connected.
