The Roda is the heart of every session. It is not a fight, it is a conversation where we move, play, and share our Axé, or energy, together.

Inside the Roda, two players engage in a spontaneous game, anticipating and responding to each other's movements. The surrounding group provides the energy with music and clapping.

About The Roda: Where We Play

In the Roda, there is no right or wrong way to play—just the flow. Whether you are a complete beginner or a seasoned practitioner, I start by teaching you how to listen with your body. You will learn to anticipate your partner's movement, not to overpower them, but to create a shared rhythm that feels less like a workout and more like a game.
