About Self-Defense Workshops
Why We Do This
Life throws punches. We help you hit back. Our self-defense workshops are about staying safe, not showing off. We focus on skills you’ll actually use if things get ugly, whether you’re dodging trouble on the street or just want to feel confident walking home at night.
Who Shows Up
Our doors are wide open. Women and girls - this is big for us. We want you to move around with zero fear. Confidence beku, courage beku (you need confidence, you need courage), and that’s what we build. Corporate teams roll in for group training - safety matters for everyone, not just individuals. College students, kids, anybody who thinks “gothilla antha helbeda” (don’t say you don’t know) - we got you. No experience needed, just show up.
What Actually Happens
We teach you what works. Real-world MMA self-defense, not just fancy moves for the ‘gram. Here’s the drill:
- Awareness is your best weapon. Watch hands, not eyes.
- Striking basics: elbows > fists. We explain why.
- Escapes that get you out quick - knees, groin, no mercy.
- Using your voice as a tool (yes, screaming counts). You’ll sweat, you’ll learn, and you’ll walk out taller.

My Story
We’re Bold MMA & Fitness, and honestly, we’re more like a family than a gym. I’ve fought through PCOD myself, so I get what it means to struggle and win. Our place is for everyone – students, office folks, fighters, first-timers. Doesn’t matter who you are, we see your effort. We celebrate every tiny win. It’s not just about looking fit; it’s about feeling strong, ready to take on whatever comes. Here, you’ll find your inner fighter. That’s real.
