Corporate Self-Defense & Wellness Session
Expert Staffing
- Lead Instructor: 1 Senior Master (4th Dan Blackbelt or higher) with corporate training experience.
- Support Team: 2 Black Belt assistants to correct form and demonstrate attacks personally.
- Duration: 90 to 120 minutes of active engagement.
Curriculum Breakdown
- Theory (30 mins): Situational awareness, de-escalation tactics, and the physiology of the "Fight or Flight" response.
- Practical (60 mins): Releases from wrist/hair grabs and chokes, adapted for formal wear and sarees.
- Striking: Targeting vulnerable points (Eyes, Throat, Groin) using palm heels and elbows.
- Improvised Weapons: Using pens, ID cards, or water bottles for defense.

- Equipment: Instructor brings Focus Pads for participants to practice full-force impact striking.
- Audio: Portable voice amplifier provided if venue sound system is unavailable.
- Travel: Includes team travel costs within city limits.

2-Day Women's Intensive Crash Course
Course Specs
- Schedule: Saturday and Sunday, 3 hours per day (6 hours total training).
- Venue: Bangalore Budokan Dojo (Training on mats in a traditional non-AC environment).
- Cohort: Small batch size (10-20 participants) for personalized attention.
Technical Training
- Scenarios: Defenses specific to dupatta strangulation, wall pins, ground pins, and chain-snatching attempts.
- Drills: Full-contact striking on kicking shields and fitness drills (burpees/planks) for conditioning.

Why I Teach Self-Defense
Karate isn’t just a sport to me, it’s my way of life. Self-defense is about way more than fighting - it’s about walking with confidence, being alert, and knowing you’re not helpless if things go sideways. I teach because I want others to feel that too.
Who Shows Up
I run practical self-defense training for all kinds of folks:

My Story
We are Bangalore Budokan, but honestly, we feel more like a big karate family than an academy. Karate for us? Not just kicks, not just belts. It’s a mindset. We started with a dream to build a tribe, and now, seeing students like Nikhil go to Nationals or Sensei Sharan bring home trophies, that's what keeps us going. Our dojo’s everywhere in Bangalore - always with our students, through thick and thin. Oss.
