About Dynamic Flow & Power Yoga
If you are new to power yoga, know that I emphasize foundation over speed. We use props like blocks and chairs to ensure your alignment is correct before you try harder variations. It is not about rushing to the next pose, it is about owning the one you are in right now. Ruko, thoda time lagega.
My dynamic flow classes are built on the principles of Ashtanga and Vinyasa, but with a firm anchor in the alignment-focused approach I use in all my sessions. A common mistake I see is people trying to move fast without a solid base. In my studio, we build heat, stamina, and strength, but we do it with precision. Whether you are holding a plank variation, flowing through a Sun Salutation, or working on balance poses, my goal is to teach you how to engage your muscles safely.
We use props like wooden bricks and wall ropes, not to make things easy, but to help you reach a pose correctly when your body is not quite there yet. This is therapeutic for your joints and effective for toning. If you have been doing yoga elsewhere and feel like you are just guessing the poses, this is where you will finally understand the mechanics of your own movement. My students join for the energy of the group, but they stay because they start to feel their bodies getting stronger, more flexible, and more capable over time.
