Manual Therapy & Advanced Techniques in Vidyaranyapura
Advanced clinical techniques designed to address the root cause of pain, including visceral manipulation, cupping, and surgical prehabilitation.
I use cupping therapy, which involves placing suction cups on the skin, to help with pain, inflammation, and blood flow, promoting overall healing.
Visceral Manipulation is a gentle, hands on therapy I use to help your internal organs glide smoothly, which can alleviate issues like abdominal pain and constipation.

This explains how Visceral Manipulation works by releasing restrictions in the connective tissue surrounding your organs, which can relieve pain in other parts of the body.

About this collection
My approach to manual therapy goes beyond surface-level relief. Whether I am using cupping to improve local circulation or visceral manipulation to address connective tissue restrictions around your organs, my focus remains on identifying the root cause of your pain. These techniques are clinical tools, not spa treatments, and they are integrated into a customized recovery plan based on your unique assessment.
Understanding Advanced Manual Therapy
Many patients come to me having tried standard treatments that offered only temporary relief. My goal is to dig deeper. By applying specialized manual techniques, I can target the specific structures in your body that are holding tension or restricting movement.
Cupping Therapy
Cupping therapy uses negative pressure to create suction on the skin. This technique is highly effective for treating muscle tension, inflammation, and localized pain. It works by increasing blood flow to the affected area, which helps remove metabolic waste and promotes tissue repair. It is a powerful tool when muscles are chronically tight or stagnant.
Visceral Manipulation
Your internal organs (viscera) are connected to your musculoskeletal system by connective tissue (fascia). If this tissue becomes restricted—due to past surgery, injury, or chronic inflammation—it can create pull or tension that manifests as pain in other parts of the body, such as the lower back or shoulders. Visceral manipulation is a gentle, hands-on technique that helps these internal structures glide smoothly again. Releasing these deep-seated restrictions can resolve symptoms that other therapies simply cannot touch.
Prehabilitation
Surgery is a significant stressor on the body. Prehabilitation is the process of improving your functional capacity before you go under the knife. By working on range of motion, strength, and core stability in the weeks before your procedure, we can significantly improve your post-operative outcomes and accelerate your return to normal activities. It is about preparing your body to handle the recovery process effectively.
Each of these techniques is applied only after a thorough physical examination and functional analysis, ensuring the treatment is exactly what your body needs to heal.
