My Journey: From Chartered Accountant to Fitness Coach
I didn't start in a yoga studio. I swapped spreadsheets for yoga mats, and I've never looked back. Here is the real story behind my switch to full-time fitness in Namma Bengaluru.
Looking back at my early yoga photos reminds me how far I've come. I used to spend hours trying to get the perfect pose, but now I know the journey is about growth and embracing every wobbly, imperfect step along the way.
In this interview, I talk about my journey and how I saw myself getting better and better with consistent effort. I'm so grateful for my supportive family, who have always given me the space to pursue my passion for running and coaching.
It's so important to prioritize yourself and practice self-love. This video is a reminder that taking time for your own well-being isn't selfish; it's necessary to become more effective and joyful in all areas of your life.
From our first picture together to focused workouts and birthday celebrations, this is a tribute to a precious friendship. The people in my life are a huge part of my journey and my strength.
This is a little bit about me: a certified Yoga Teacher, a Fitness and Marathon coach, and a mother of three. My journey has taken me from being a Chartered Accountant to a full time fitness professional, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
Every day is a good day to celebrate the people who make you stronger. I am so grateful for my family and my tribe of friends and runners who support me and allow me to be who I am.
About this collection
Most people see the finished poses, but they don't see the years of shaky balance and early morning runs. My path to becoming a coach wasn't a straight line. It involved leaving a stable career as a Chartered Accountant, navigating real injuries, and learning to listen to my body over the noise of perfection. If you are looking for a coach who understands the messiness of real life, let’s connect.
Life Before the Mat
Before I was coaching Hyrox classes or teaching Vinyasa flow, I was a Chartered Accountant. I know exactly what it feels like to sit at a desk for hours, battling tight hips and the daily grind. That specific experience shapes how I teach. I don't just talk about fitness theory, I teach from the reality of someone who had to fight for every bit of mobility and strength I have today.
Why I Teach
My journey has been defined by overcoming setbacks. From foot fractures to asthma, I’ve had my share of hurdles. I believe that fitness is a jatre, a festival of movement, not a chore to be checked off. When you join my classes in Bellandur or HSR Layout, you aren't just getting an instructor. You are getting someone who shows up, even on the days I don't feel like it.
What You Can Expect
My approach is built on consistency, not intensity for the sake of it.
- Real Progress: We celebrate the small wins, like that first unassisted pull-up or holding a balance without wobbling.
- Community: I built this tribe because I know how hard it is to train alone. We laugh, we sweat, and we support each other.
- Adaptability: Whether you are a runner looking for cross-training, a mom trying to find 45 minutes for yourself, or a beginner scared to try a headstand, I adjust the sessions to your current level.
This isn't about looking a certain way. It is about what your body can actually do. If you are tired of generic fitness programs that don't understand your lifestyle, come train with us.
