About Pregnancy & Birth Support
With You at Every Step
Every pregnancy journey is different, and I get that it can feel like a lot sometimes. At Bangalore Birth Network, we’re more of a community than a service. Our team includes volunteers, counselors, and birth professionals who don’t just talk - we listen, support, and walk with you, whichever path you choose.
Birth Choices, Your Way
Confused about all the options? I’m here to break down birth plan guidance in a way that actually makes sense. We’ll talk about everything: hospital or home, which doctor or hospital fits your vibe, pain management (from breathing to epidurals), what’s up with C-sections or inductions, and even VBAC counseling if you want to try for a vaginal birth after a previous surgery. Partners and doulas? We talk about those roles too.
Getting Ready - Body and Mind
Support starts even before you’re pregnant. I’ll help with preconception nutrition support (think folate, iron, and cycle tracking), and once you’re expecting, we set the record straight on common myths (ghee does not solve everything) and build routines with gentle movement and balanced meals.
Learning Together
Our classes aren’t just about stretching - we cover prenatal yoga, Garbha Sanskar, WHO birth practices, and real info on things like premature birth or low-lying placenta. Parents often say, 'Ee session inda naavu thilkondvi' (we learned from this session).
Mental Health Matters
Struggling? You’re not alone. We offer free, confidential prenatal mental health counseling for you and your partner. Honest, judgment-free support - because a calm mind helps everything.
Speak Your Language
You can reach out in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi, or English - whatever feels most comfortable. Our community is open to everyone, in Bangalore or anywhere else, online too.

My Story
Hey, we’re Bangalore Birth Network. We started with one idea: every ma and baby should feel safe and heard, no matter what. We’re not just doctors or counselors, we’re moms too – and we know this whole parenting thing is a wild ride. We’ve seen women open up, ask tough questions, even in Hindi – ‘aaj jo hai... pura clear se open se maine question kiya... bahut achha laga’ (Today I could ask everything openly, felt so good). That’s what we’re about. Come as you are, speak your heart, we’re here.
