About Maternal Health Workshops & Training
Why We Do This
At Bangalore Birth Network, we genuinely believe that when mothers and care providers have access to the right knowledge and support, the whole experience of pregnancy and early motherhood changes for the better. We’re here to offer real information, not just theory, and create a space where you actually feel, "humko bahut sara jaankari mila" (we got a lot of information).
What We Offer for Mothers
Every session is a mix of practical learning and honest conversations. Our pregnancy education camps aren't your usual lectures - think open chats about maternal mental health, breastfeeding peer support group activities, and simple tips for feeling confident as a new mom. You can ask questions, share your doubts, and connect with others who just get it. By the end, you’ll probably say, 'bahut achha laga' (felt very good).
For the Community Health Crew
We run hands-on workshops for ASHA workers, nurses, and others working closely with mothers. These perinatal care workshops focus on real skills - handling emergencies, effective communication ("Language of Birth"), and supporting mental health. The idea is, you walk away with tools you can use on the ground.
What Makes Us Different
We team up with health centres, NGOs, and community groups, so this isn’t just classroom stuff. Whether you’re a new mom or a healthcare worker, our goal is simple: "Ee session inda naavu thilkondvi" (we learned from this session). We’re here for your journey, every step.

My Story
Hey, we’re Bangalore Birth Network. We started with one idea: every ma and baby should feel safe and heard, no matter what. We’re not just doctors or counselors, we’re moms too – and we know this whole parenting thing is a wild ride. We’ve seen women open up, ask tough questions, even in Hindi – ‘aaj jo hai... pura clear se open se maine question kiya... bahut achha laga’ (Today I could ask everything openly, felt so good). That’s what we’re about. Come as you are, speak your heart, we’re here.
