We believe birth should be safe, respectful, and supported by a community. Here, we share our advocacy work, evidence-based practices, and local campaigns that protect maternal health and infant well-being across Bangalore.

On World No Tobacco Day, we highlight the "dark intentions" behind brightly packaged tobacco products targeting children. We advocate for tobacco-free environments to protect maternal and infant health from the risks of nicotine exposure.

For World Health Day, we highlight our programs that align with the theme "Healthy Beginnings, Hopeful Futures." Our initiatives focus on the golden hour, frontline worker training, mental health, and breastfeeding support.

On World NGO Day, we celebrate the work of nonprofits like ours that support mothers and babies. We are dedicated to promoting respectful care and helping parents make informed choices about birth and breastfeeding.

Obstetric violence is a form of gender-based violence. As part of the 16 Days against Gender-Based Violence campaign, we share the "Stop. Support. Report." framework to guide people on how to respond when witnessing violence.

September is National Infant Mortality Awareness Month. We are committed to ensuring every baby gets a healthy start by raising awareness, sharing knowledge, and advocating for better maternal and infant care in our communities.

For World Breastfeeding Week, we focus on "Closing the Gap" by providing inclusive support groups for all families. Our community offers a safe space to share experiences and receive peer support from preconception to the first 1000 days.

About Health Advocacy & Awareness

When we advocate, we are working to change the system from the inside out. We train frontline health workers on the 'Baby Gold' program, ensuring mothers receive immediate skin-to-skin contact and respectful treatment. This is not just about awareness, it is about shifting clinical practices in local hospitals to protect your autonomy during birth.
