About Maternal Mental Health Counseling
Here for You, Whatever This Journey Looks Like
What You Can Expect
Pregnancy and new parenthood bring a mix of feelings - excitement, worry, exhaustion, sometimes sadness. I know it’s not always easy. My role is to give you a safe, private place to talk things out, whether you’re facing postpartum anxiety support needs, feeling disconnected, or just struggling with the day-to-day.
Who This Is For
- Moms-to-be and new mothers processing big emotional changes
- Fathers and partners who also feel the stress (haan, even you deserve to be heard)
- Anyone feeling the weight of “log kya kahenge” (what will people say) and wanting real support, not just advice
What I Offer
- One-on-one, confidential perinatal counseling sessions
- Space to talk about baby blues, bonding, sleep troubles, or just feeling not-your-usual-self
- A chance to join a wider community for peer support and shared stories
How I Work
No judgment, no “shoulds,” just listening. I won’t give you all the answers - I’ll help you find your own. My goal is for you to leave a session feeling “humko bahut sara jaankari mila” (we got a lot of information) and “Ee session inda naavu thilkondvi” (we learned from this session).
Your journey is unique. You don’t have to do it alone.

My Story
Hey, we’re Bangalore Birth Network. We started with one idea: every ma and baby should feel safe and heard, no matter what. We’re not just doctors or counselors, we’re moms too – and we know this whole parenting thing is a wild ride. We’ve seen women open up, ask tough questions, even in Hindi – ‘aaj jo hai... pura clear se open se maine question kiya... bahut achha laga’ (Today I could ask everything openly, felt so good). That’s what we’re about. Come as you are, speak your heart, we’re here.
