Adult Kickboxing & Functional Fitness
Core Training
- Cardio Kickboxing: 20 to 25 mins of high-intensity drills, shadow boxing, and kicking combinations.
- Functional Strength: Bodyweight circuits utilizing the hall space, including push-ups, squats, and lunges.
- Pad Work: Partner drills using focus mitts and kicking shields for impact training.
Recovery & Specs
- Flexibility: Dynamic stretching routines and basic Yoga integration for cool-down.
- Frequency: 12 sessions per month (3 days/week, 60 mins each).
- Environment: Non-AC community hall with basic matting.
Kids Karate & Gymnastics Program
Multi-Disciplinary Mix
- Karate Fundamentals: 2 to 3 sessions per week focusing on stances, punches, and Kata.
- Gymnastics: Dedicated bi-weekly classes for agility, rolls, and rope climbing.
- Weapon Training: Introduction to Nunchaku basics and coordination drills.
Development & Logistics
- Assessments: Periodic testing of stamina, strength, and flexibility.
- Sparring: Controlled 'Kumite' sessions (safety gear provided for trials).
- Schedule: Standard 3 classes per week frequency.
- Note: Uniform (Gi) and Belt exam fees are typically charged separately.
1-on-1 Personal Training (Founder Led)

About Fitness Classes & Personal Training
My Take on Fitness
For me, fitness is a full-time thing, not just a bunch of push-ups or cardio. I’m all about helping folks (especially kids) get strong for life, not just for a season. We’re not just a group sweating together - we’re a kind of family that cheers for each win, big or small.
What We Do
I mix it up with martial arts fitness classes, gymnastics, and personal training. There’s no fixed formula here.
- You want something specific? I’ll make a plan just for you. That’s what personal training is about.
- Group classes are high energy, especially kickboxing training for beginners. We go all out, but safety first with gear.
- If you’re into flexibility improvement exercises, we do stuff like splits and rope climbs. It’s not just about muscles, but coordination and agility too.
- Yoga and pranayama are part of our routine - helps with balance, focus, and just clearing the mind.
How Our Sessions Feel
Every session starts with warm-ups, then we hit strength moves and end with stretching. I push people to go for “one more rep” - you’ll hear me shout “One more time, go!” whenever you think you’re done. Discipline is key, but I keep it supportive.
What You Get (Apart from Muscles)
Sure, you’ll get fitter and stronger. But more than that, I’m here to help you grow inside out - build confidence, discipline, and focus. Like I always say, "hands hechu full hero thara bandu peace madodu vasi" (Better to show up full-on and make peace with strength). We train to be calm, not just tough.

My Story
Hi, we’re AK Martial Arts and Fitness Academy. Karate’s not just sport for us, it’s family. Our founder, Shihan Ashish Kumar, lives and breathes this art - 5th Dan Black Belt, Bruce Lee award winner, international medals, you name it. But honestly, our biggest joy? Watching our karatekas grow, smash belt tests, and celebrate wins together. Every student’s success feels like a win for us all. We train, we cheer, we rise up as one.
