About Youth Programs (Classes & Camps)
What We Do
At United Martial Arts & Activity Club, we help kids and teens discover their inner fighter. It's not just about punching and kicking - it's about building real confidence, focus, and discipline. We know not every kid wants the same thing, so our youth programs cover everything from beginner karate to full-on mixed martial arts and gymnastics.
Programs for Every Age & Skill Level
-
Year-round youth martial arts classes start at age 4. We've got:
- Beginner karate for kids, working up through the belt system
- Kickboxing and boxing for kids and teens, mixing strikes with fun fitness drills
- Gymnastics for strength, balance, and flexibility, plus those cartwheels kids love
- Teen self-defense training and MMA for the older ones who want a well-rounded fight game
-
Our kids summer activity camp packs it all in, with a blend of martial arts, gymnastics, and pure fun. It's busy, loud, and full of action.
How We Train
- Classes led by certified coaches and national-level athletes - real people who know their stuff
- Our dojo’s kitted out with matted floors, punching bags, ladders, and all the gear
- Discipline’s important, but so is fun. Fitness games and challenges keep everyone moving and smiling.
- Safety’s always the rule - full gear, close supervision, never cutting corners
Beyond the Mat
- Kids leave with more than skills. They get better at focusing, standing up for themselves, and handling tough stuff. We see shy kids come out of their shells, loud kids learn control, and everyone finds something they’re good at.

My Story
We call ourselves UMC, but for us, it’s really The Champions Dojo. Started out believing martial arts isn’t just punches and kicks – it’s about respect, guts, and growing stronger inside. Nothing beats seeing a shy kid turn bold or watching our team win medals. We just opened in HSR with a crazy MMA fighting cage. We’re not just trainers, we’re one big squad, cheering each other on. That’s what keeps us fired up.
