Shotokan Karate Classes (Boys 4-18y)
Class Structure
- Frequency: 3 sessions per week (Mon/Wed/Sat or Sun/Tue/Thu).
- Duration: 90 minutes per session (~18 hours monthly).
- Batch Size: Group instruction with 15-20 students.
- Eligibility: Boys only (Strict academy policy).
Curriculum
- Basics (Kihon): Drills for stance correction, punching techniques, and blocking.
- Forms (Kata): Memorization of patterns tailored to belt level.
- Sparring (Kumite): Controlled point-sparring drills (non-contact/light contact).
- Conditioning: 20-minute intense warm-up with agility ladders and bodyweight exercises.
Facility & Gear
- Venue: Rooftop dojo with 25mm EVA puzzle mats and wall fans (Non-AC).
- Equipment: Shared access to kick shields, focus mitts, and climbing ropes.
Progression
- Grading: Preparation for belt exams from White to Black belt.
- Competition: Scouting for district and state-level tournament selection.
Adult Kickboxing & Conditioning
Schedule & Intensity
- Timing: Late evening slots (8:30 PM - 10:00 PM).
- Frequency: 3 days per week.
- Focus: High-intensity interval training designed for fat loss and stamina.
Technical Training
- Striking: Instruction on boxing punches (Jabs, Cross, Hooks) and kicks (Roundhouse, Teep).
- Bag Work: Dedicated power rounds on heavy bags.
- Drills: Partner pad work to improve reaction time and defensive slipping.
Fitness Components
- Strength: Bodyweight circuits (pushups, burpees) and basic bench press usage.
- Cardio: Jump rope routines and shuttle runs.

Martial arts at Revolution Martial Arts & Fitness Academy is all about building discipline and confidence, not just learning how to fight. I’m Coach Zuhaib, and my motto is simple: train hard, fight easy. Honestly, this isn’t for everyone - ye training kamzor dil walon ke liye nahi hai (this training isn’t for the faint-hearted). Only those ready to push limits and listen to discipline will feel at home.
Who Can Join
We focus on boys only right now, building a strong brotherhood. Our classes are split by age:
- Kids karate (4+ years)
- Teens karate
- Adults karate & kickboxing
What We Teach
Our main focus is Shotokan karate training and kickboxing for boys. We drill basics (kihon), forms (kata), and sparring (kumite). Kickboxing sessions are intense, perfect for building stamina, and we prep students for national level martial arts preparation.
How We Train
Sessions are tough - dekhna aap (you’ll see). Every class starts with fitness and agility work, then we grind through technical drills on bags and mitts. Controlled sparring in full gear is regular. Sometimes, we hit the outdoors to shake things up.
Our Pride
From Bhatkal to the Nationals, our students have snagged medals at all levels. Belt grading keeps progress clear and motivates everyone. We take pride in seeing our boys make history.
Training Your Way
Join group classes at Bunder Road or Azad Nagar, go for 1-on-1 personal training, or even train at home. We also run special vacation camps for that extra push.

My Story
Alhamdulillah, started Revolution Martial Arts in Bhatkal with one crazy dream - make champions, inside and outside the dojo. Now, seeing kids like Mustafiz Kola smash records, qualifying for national karate, that’s something, I tell you. But medals aren’t everything. We train, eat cake, swim, fix health stuff like flat feet, laugh, cry - all in it together. My students grow strong, confident, disciplined. I’m just grateful to be part of their journey.

Two Bhatkal Dojos - Branches on Bunder Road and Azad Nagar, always upgrading. Some routes have transport.
Fitness for Health Issues - We help kids with flat feet and other health concerns through targeted exercises.
