Guided Yoga Practice & Alignment
We believe safety is the foundation of every pose. Whether you are a beginner or looking to deepen your flow, our hands-on adjustments and prop-based techniques ensure you practice with clarity and care.
Using a yoga strap, we guide you into a safe and effective Purvottanasana (Upward Plank Pose). This adjustment helps lift the hips and open the chest without straining the shoulders, ensuring you build strength correctly.
Inversions like Salamba Sirsasana (Supported Headstand) require careful alignment. We provide steady support to ensure your neck is protected and your body is stacked correctly, allowing you to experience the benefits safely.
A simple yoga block can transform a pose. Here, we use it to provide lift in a seated twist, which helps maintain a long spine and allows for a deeper, safer rotation.
For deep backbends like Urdhva Dhanurasana (Wheel Pose), we use props like straps to provide support. This technique helps you lift and open the chest while protecting the lower back from compression.
An instructor's touch can make all the difference in Salamba Sarvangasana (Shoulder Stand). We provide gentle guidance to ensure the neck is safe and the body finds its vertical alignment.
In Camatkarasana (Wild Thing), a gentle adjustment helps you open the heart and extend through the arm safely. This support encourages a deeper backbend while maintaining stability through the foundation.
We guide you into a restorative supine twist, helping to release tension in the spine and hips. This hands-on approach ensures you can relax fully into the pose.
In Anjaneyasana (Low Lunge), proper alignment is key to protecting the knee and deepening the hip flexor stretch. We guide you to ensure your front knee is stacked over the ankle and your hips are square.
We teach how to correct common sitting postures using a simple foam block. Elevating the hips in Dandasana (Staff Pose) helps lengthen the spine and reduce lower back strain, promoting better posture.
Yoga is a journey of self-discovery, and sometimes that journey is supported by a teacher's guidance. Here, we assist in a gentle neck release, ensuring a safe and restorative experience.
About Guided Practice & Alignment
Proper alignment is not about forcing your body into a shape. We use props like foam blocks, straps, and wall ropes—and our hands-on adjustments—to help you find space, stability, and safety in every pose, whether you are working on a deep backbend or correcting your daily sitting posture.
Your Foundation, Our Guidance
Yoga is a conversation between your breath and your body, and our goal is to help you listen carefully. We do not just demonstrate poses; we provide the manual guidance needed to make them accessible and effective for you.
Why Props Matter
We often use tools like foam blocks, straps, and wall ropes to bridge the gap between where your body is today and where you want to go.
- For backbends like Urdhva Dhanurasana: We use straps to prevent lower back compression, allowing you to focus on lifting and heart-opening without the strain.
- For seated poses like Dandasana: A block under your hips can shift your pelvic tilt, instantly lengthening your spine and relieving lower back tightness.
- For inversions like Sirsasana: We provide the physical support to ensure your neck is protected and your weight is stacked through the correct alignment.
Hands-on Adjustments
Our batches are small by design—usually 10 to 18 students. This ensures that our RYT certified instructors have the time to walk around the room and provide verbal cues or gentle physical adjustments. Whether you are in our Vile Parle studio in Mumbai or visiting our Hinjewadi or Wakad locations in Pune, you will never feel like you are just copying a video. We are here to make sure you move in a way that respects your body's limits and potential.
Asan Yoga
My team and I believe that movement should feel like a relief, not a chore. We focus on small batches where we can actually see you, adjust you, and support your progress, whether you are joining us in Vile Parle or Hinjewadi.
