Mastering Yoga Philosophy and Meditation

byArya YogaStudio at DLF Phase 4, GurugramView full gallery

Go beyond physical postures. Immerse yourself in the sacred study of Yoga Sutras, ancient meditation techniques, and the traditional rituals that define a true yogic lifestyle.

A sacred Havan (fire ceremony) marks the beginning of our 300-hour YTTC, creating a sanctified space for our transformative journey.

Our diverse group of students, from different countries and backgrounds, united in a meditation session during the opening ceremony.

The Havan ceremony is an integral part of our course, connecting us to the ancient Vedic traditions of yoga.

The air fills with sacred mantras during our opening Havan, invoking blessings for the students as they embark on their path of self-discovery.

A guided Manipura Chakra (Solar Plexus) meditation session, where students learn to focus their awareness and energy.

A classroom session on yogic philosophy. Students take notes as an instructor explains the concepts of the Shatkarmas from ancient texts.

An instructor guides students in Padmasana (Lotus Pose), explaining the correct alignment to ensure stability for long meditation sessions.

About this collection

In this 300-hour training, we do not just lecture on theory. You will actively perform traditional Shatkarmas like Jal Neti for physical cleansing and participate in sacred Havan ceremonies to ground your practice. This is about understanding the mechanics of your mind and energy, providing you the tools to teach with depth and confidence rather than just reciting textbook definitions.

Yoga is often reduced to the physical, but the true transformation happens when you integrate the mind and spirit. Our 300-hour advanced training, designed for dedicated practitioners, shifts the focus from mere flexibility to inner alignment.

The Path of Knowledge

We focus on the classical study of the eight limbs of yoga and the Yoga Sutras. Whether you are aiming to become a teacher or simply want to deepen your personal sadhana (practice), you will study the paths of Karma, Bhakti, and Gyan Yog. We analyze these ancient texts in the context of modern life, making them applicable to the challenges you face today.

Practical Rituals

Philosophy without practice is incomplete. Our course includes:

  • Shatkarma Workshops: Learn and experience cleansing techniques like Jal Neti and Sutra Neti under supervision for genuine purification.
  • Vedic Rituals: Participate in Havan ceremonies that focus the mind and build community energy.
  • Meditation Science: Move beyond simple breathwork into deep Manipura Chakra meditation, learning to observe thoughts without judgment.

The Immersion

While we build your foundation in our Gurgaon studios using props like Iyengar wall ropes for safe alignment, the program culminates in a transformative residential immersion in Rishikesh. By the banks of the Ganges, we disconnect from the city's noise to focus on silent meditation and philosophical inquiry. This is not a vacation; it is a dedicated space to find the 'inner change' that makes a teacher truly effective.
