The Kula Experience: Building Community Through Yoga
Yoga is more than just poses on a mat. At Arya Power Yoga, our Kula—or community—is where the real growth happens. From shared meals to talent rounds, we build bonds that last long after the training ends.
A collage of our happy graduates. From a formal group photo to a fun, celebratory shot, these moments capture the joy of completing the YTTC.
Yoga can be a party. A fun-filled class with laughter, connection, and playful challenges, because joy is a vital part of the yogic path.
Glimpses of our practice, from partner stretches to group splits, all done with a sense of community and shared effort.
Enjoying a community meal (bhandara) together. Sharing food and conversation is how we strengthen the bonds of our Kula.
The talent round is a time for celebration and self-expression. Here, students showcase their skills in classical dance.
A goofy and happy group photo from our talent round and bhandara. We believe in balancing serious practice with lighthearted fun.

About this collection
We do not just train for 300 hours; we live together. When you join our YTTC, you will participate in our community bhandaras (shared meals) and talent rounds. These are not fillers. They are an essential practice in Karma Yoga and humility, helping you connect with fellow students from all walks of life before we head to the Ganges for our final immersion.
In the yogic tradition, the Sangha or Kula is just as important as the practice itself. We have seen time and again that transformation happens faster when you are not walking the path alone. Our 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training in Gurgaon is designed to create this support system from day one.
We believe that if your practice does not include laughter, it is missing a vital element. That is why you will find talent rounds, dance breaks, and open discussions filling our studios in DLF Phase 4 and Mayfield Garden. We want you to be yourself—goofy, serious, or creative—while learning the discipline of Hatha and Ashtanga.
The highlight for many is the Bhandara. Sitting on the floor, serving each other, and sharing a simple, sattvic meal creates an equality that breaks down social barriers. It is a practice of Karma Yoga—selfless service—that grounds you before we take the journey to Rishikesh.
Whether you are joining us for the YTTC or one of our weekend retreats, expect to leave with more than a certificate. You will leave with a second family. We host these gatherings across our centers in Gurugram, and they are the heart of what we do. If you have questions about how we balance this intense training with such a supportive atmosphere, reach out to us. We would love to tell you more about our upcoming batches.
