Real Student Experiences from Our Yoga Teacher Training
We do not just train teachers, we cultivate practitioners. Hear what our graduates have to say about their 300-hour journey, moving from our Gurgaon studios to the banks of the Ganges.
"Yoga is not only limited to the physical aspect, it is also most of the internal yoga." A graduate shares her experience of finding inner peace and a deeper connection to her soul.
"Yoga is life, and life itself is yoga." A student beautifully expresses how the course taught her to live yoga, describing the experience as something taught from the heart.
About this collection
Our graduates often mention that the real shift happens when they transition from the Gurgaon studio environment to our Rishikesh immersion. It is not just about mastering asanas here, but learning how to live the philosophy. Students consistently tell us that the use of Iyengar wall ropes during the initial phase in Gurgaon helps them identify their own physical limitations before they go deeper into the silence of the Ganges.
When you choose a 300-hour teacher training, you are looking for more than just a certificate on the wall. You are looking for a shift in how you move, breathe, and think. Our graduates, like Seep and Kirti, often speak about this inner change that happens when you take the practice off the mat.
In our academy, we break the training into two distinct worlds. In Gurgaon, we focus on the technical rigour. This is where you learn to sequence classes, use props like straps and wheels, and understand the anatomy behind a safe adjustment. We believe in small groups here because we want to see how you hold your posture and how you guide others.
Then comes the immersion. Moving our community (Kula) to Rishikesh is a deliberate choice. It provides the space to move beyond the physical. We spend our days on the banks of the Ganges, discussing the Yoga Sutras, practising Havan rituals, and experiencing traditional Shatkarma cleansings. This is where the academic study of Karma, Bhakti, and Gyan Yog transforms into lived experience.
Our graduates describe the bond they form here as something that cannot be replicated in a standard studio setting. They talk about the community meals (bhandara), the partner yoga, and the space to be vulnerable. Whether you are aiming to teach professionally or simply want to deepen your own practice, this course is designed to make you feel capable, confident, and grounded.
Arya Yoga
I believe teaching yoga is about guiding others to find their own balance, not just correcting postures. In our 300-hour training, I watch students move from being learners to becoming practitioners who truly understand how to live their yoga, both on and off the mat.
