This pose, supported on blocks, is inspired by Bhishma lying on a bed of arrows. It is a powerful therapeutic asana for cardiac patients, as it opens the chest and supports the heart. This is an example of the deep, therapeutic knowledge we explore.

An asana practiced without attention is just exercise. Here, my students transition from active asana to a state of meditative awareness, integrating the physical practice with the inner journey towards stillness and peace, as described in the Yoga Sutras.

Yoga works on a much deeper level than ordinary exercise. It targets our physiological organs and psycho-neurological systems. I teach how asanas build a bridge between the physical body and the mind, leading to holistic health.

My classes are interactive and hands-on. I provide individual adjustments to help students find their center of gravity, improve alignment in poses like plank and side plank, and build core stability safely.

In a group setting, I provide personal adjustments to ensure each student understands the correct alignment. Here, I am guiding students in standing poses like Parsvottanasana, helping them to open their shoulders and lengthen their spine.

An asana is an observatory to look within, a laboratory to experiment with your body, and an academy to study yourself. My studio is a space for this deep learning and exploration.

Focusing on alignment is not just about physical posture; it encourages mindfulness and a deeper connection to your body. Here, I guide students to feel how each movement affects them, turning the practice into a moving meditation.
