Online Yoga Sessions for Alignment and Healing
Don't let distance hold back your progress. I bring my studio’s focus on biomechanics and Iyengar-style alignment directly to your living room through live, interactive online sessions.
This is a screenshot from one of my online classes with a student abroad. Even from a distance, I can guide you on proper posture and alignment, helping you become more aware of your body's imbalances and areas of tightness.
Correcting posture is a key focus in my online sessions. Here, I am guiding a student through a seated twist. This awareness helps you correct your own posture not just on the mat, but in your daily life.
About Online Yoga Sessions
In these sessions, you aren't just following a pre-recorded video. I watch your alignment in real-time, providing immediate verbal adjustments as if I were in the room with you. My focus remains on biomechanics and safety, ensuring you understand exactly how to move, which is critical when you are working through chronic stiffness, joint pain, or simply trying to improve your posture at home.
Many people worry that distance compromises their practice, but my online sessions are designed to be an interactive, guided experience. We use the same principles as my studio work—Iyengar-style precision and anatomy-based sequencing—to ensure you are practicing safely at home.
The limitation of most online yoga is the lack of feedback. In my sessions, I emphasize cues and visual correction to address common issues like rounding shoulders or incorrect spinal alignment. We start by assessing your posture and current range of motion. From there, we build a routine that integrates breathwork and asana, tailored to your body's specific needs.
I guide you through the process of 'Aahar' (diet), 'Vihaar' (lifestyle), and 'Vichar' (thoughts), helping you understand that your physical practice is only one part of the equation. Whether you are dealing with desk-job tightness, spinal discomfort, or simply looking for deeper mental clarity, these sessions provide the tools you need to build long-term stability.
You will need minimal equipment—often just a wall or basic props—to begin. I guide you on how to repurpose household items if you do not have standard yoga bricks or belts. This practice is about consistency and education, empowering you to take charge of your healing and wellbeing, no matter where you are.
