Architecture is a promise to future generations. Here, I share the core concepts that guide every project at ARK, from the idea of liberating spaces to the balance of purposeful luxury.

Here, I discuss my take on "simple living." A home is where you can truly be yourself, and luxury isn't about excess. It's about using the best amenities and materials, like Italian marble, thoughtfully and purposefully, only where they are needed.

In this interview with Forbes India, I delve into my approach to luxury living. I explain how we integrate smart technology and biophilic design to create comfortable, sustainable, and personalized experiences, such as using automated curtains to manage sunlight and save energy.

This quote captures a core belief of mine: "Every building has a voice; it's up to the architect to make it sing." My role is to find that voice, blending form and function to create spaces that resonate with purpose and beauty.

On World Architecture Day, I reflected on the three 'A's that guide my work: Authenticity, Ambition, and Attention to Detail. For me, architecture is a promise of progress, beauty, and sustainability for the future.

I was featured in BW Hotelier magazine, where I shared my insights on the future of the hotel industry. I believe luxury is not just in the design but also extends to the service, and our goal is to create spaces that enhance the entire guest experience.

A snippet from a feature in BW Hotelier magazine. Here, I discuss how we honor a country's cultural heritage by seamlessly integrating local artistry and traditional craftsmanship into our modern hotel designs.

Another excerpt from my feature in BW Hotelier, discussing the integration of luxury and design. I explain how we use high ceilings, well-planned lighting, and premium materials to create a sophisticated and comfortable atmosphere in our hotel projects.

I was honored to be featured in Forbes India, where I discussed the convergence of smart building technology with biophilic design. I believe this combination is key to creating luxury homes that are healthy, sustainable, and comfortable.

In this feature from Realty+ magazine, I share my views on the rise of Indian designers on the global stage. I believe our unique ability to blend contemporary aesthetics with traditional design gives us a distinct and powerful voice in the international arena.

It was an honor to be featured in the cover story of Interiors & Decor magazine. In the article, I discuss the balance between bold architectural expression and contextual relevance, a principle that is at the core of every project we undertake at ARK.

About My Design Philosophy & Vision

When I talk about simple living, I don't mean bare minimalism. I mean using materials like Italian marble or lighting systems only where they serve a specific structural or atmospheric purpose. Before we finalize any material palette, I sit down with you to identify what truly adds value to your daily routine, so the final design is inherently yours—not a trend copied from a magazine.

Architecture as a Promise

For me, architecture is engineering with soul. Whether I am designing a high-rise residential tower or an intimate family villa, my process remains the same: I listen to the site and the people who will occupy it. A building is not just a structure; it is a long-term commitment to the people inside and the community around it.

The Art of Liberating Spaces

My work is defined by the removal of barriers. Many modern homes feel disconnected from their environment, but I believe in merging the indoors with the outdoors. By using large, seamless glazing and smart layout planning, we ensure your living room flows naturally into your garden or terrace. This connection to nature is not just about aesthetics; it is about well-being, fresh air, and light.

Purposeful Luxury vs. Excess

There is a common misconception that luxury equals expense. I disagree. You do not need to use the most expensive materials in every corner of the house. True luxury is having the right amenity in the right place. If you have a west-facing window, we don't just tint the glass; we install automated systems that manage sunlight to keep the room cool and energy-efficient. That is smart living.

Designing for Change

I have seen buildings evolve over decades—I have even designed commercial structures that were later converted into hospitals. We build for the future by creating flexible layouts that adapt to your life, not the other way around. When we start a project, we aren't just designing for today; we are designing for the way you will live ten or twenty years from now.

I am Reza Kabul, and I have spent over three decades walking sites and listening to the stories people want their spaces to tell. My goal is simple: I design buildings that let you live comfortably and flexibly, without ever feeling like you are living in a showhome.
