I design spaces where nature is not just an addition, but the core of the structure. From vertical gardens that cool your office to terraces that frame the horizon, we blur the lines between building and landscape.

Our vision for the Westin Nashik is a prime example of biophilic architecture. The building is draped in greenery, with cascading plants and landscaped terraces that merge the structure with the lush, natural hillside.

This is our design for the Narmada commercial building in GIFT City, featuring personal landscape terrace gardens for offices and restaurants. These open, green spaces are designed to enhance tranquility and naturally cool the building.

A closer look at the vertical gardens and landscaped terraces at the Narmada project. This design brings nature directly into the workspace, creating a healthier and more productive environment for users.

The infinity pool at the upcoming Westin Nashik, surrounded by palm trees and lush landscaping. The design aims to create a seamless transition from the built environment to the natural waterfront, offering a truly immersive resort experience.

Another perspective of the Westin Nashik, highlighting how the architecture follows the natural contours of the hill. The integration of greenery on every level is a core part of our sustainable and biophilic design approach.

About Biophilic Design: Integrating Nature

Integrating nature into a high-rise is not about placing a few potted plants on a balcony. At my studio, we engineer the structure to support the weight of mature trees and cascading greenery, using vertical gardens as natural insulators that lower ambient temperatures in offices like the Narmada project in GIFT City. When we design a terrace, we calculate wind loads and drainage to ensure your garden survives and thrives, turning the building into a living, breathing part of the skyline.

Biophilic design is not about decoration. It is a fundamental strategy for human wellbeing. In our approach, we view the building fabric as a medium for nature.

For commercial projects like our work in GIFT City, we utilize vertical gardens and triple-height terraces not just for aesthetics, but to improve air quality and provide natural cooling. This requires a deep understanding of structural engineering, from ensuring proper waterproofing and irrigation systems to selecting vegetation that flourishes in local climatic conditions.

In hospitality projects, such as the Westin Nashik, we frame the architecture around the landscape. By aligning structural lines with the horizon and integrating water bodies with the built form, we eliminate the visual barrier between the room and the view. This creates a transition that feels intentional and calm.

Whether designing a high-rise office or a private residence, my process focuses on longevity. We select materials that weather well with greenery and plan for the maintenance of these living systems so they stay part of your daily life, not just a maintenance burden.
