I am immensely happy to announce that I have been recognized as The Iconic Designer of India 2024 by AADF and Realty+. We also won two Excellence Awards for our flagship projects, Taj Gandhinagar Resort & Spa and Fintech Commercial Hub.
I was recently recognized as the GOAT (Greatest of All Time) of the industry by CREDAI MCHI at The Spaciux Design Awards in Mumbai. I am truly grateful for this recognition of my contribution to the architecture industry.

About Industry Recognition & Awards
Awards are milestones, but they are not the end goal. For me, the true value lies in how a space like the Taj Wellness Resort functions for its users, rather than how it looks in a glossy magazine. These recognitions from platforms like Forbes and Realty+ validate my core belief in 'liberating spaces'—creating environments where the interior and exterior merge to serve the evolving needs of the people living inside.
Architecture as a Promise
When I founded ARK in 1988, my goal was simple: to make spaces that matter. Looking back at 37 years of practice, being named a 'Design Legend' or receiving the 'Greatest of All Time' recognition from CREDAI MCHI is humbling. But these awards represent more than just a trophy on a shelf. They are markers of a journey focused on blending engineering precision with human emotion.
Why These Projects Stand Out
Take our work on the Taj Gandhinagar Resort & Spa or the Fintech Commercial Hub. These projects did not start with a search for aesthetics. They started by asking how we could integrate biophilic design, sustainable technology, and structural flexibility so the building could adapt to future needs. When we receive awards for these projects, it tells me that the industry values the same thing I do—architecture that lives and breathes.
Mentorship and Evolution
Design is not a static field. Serving on juries for the Economic Times DesignScape Awards or WADE Asia keeps me grounded. Engaging with the next generation of architects reminds me that every era brings new ways to challenge the status quo. I still believe that a home is where you should be yourself, and whether I am designing a high-rise or a private villa, the intention remains the same: to create a foundation for a life well-lived.
