Personalized Boxing Drills and Technique
I do not believe in fluff. Here, we break down your movement, sharpen your punches, and fix your form so you fight better, not just harder.
Two fighters drilling a specific combination. One attacks, one defends. This is how we build muscle memory for both offense and defense. "Mudichiduvo" means let's finish it.
I'm working with a young fighter on his jab and head movement. Personalized attention helps correct mistakes before they become bad habits.
A black and white video of me working the pads with a fighter. We're focused on speed, power, and fluid combinations.
A drill focused on throwing sharp, accurate jabs. The jab is the most important punch in boxing, and we spend a lot of time perfecting it.
Mitt work with one of my boxers. I'm calling out punches to test his reaction time and ensure his technique holds up when he's tired.
This drill is all about slips and pivots. We're training to move like a butterfly, avoiding punches and creating angles for counters.
A fast paced mitt work session. The goal is to throw sharp, explosive punches and immediately return to a defensive stance.
Working the pads with one of my fighters preparing for a match. This is where we fine tune the game plan and sharpen his best weapons.
Behind the scenes of learning a new combination. It takes time and repetition, but the feeling of getting it right is unmatched. I'm reminding him to use his feet.
A fighter returning to the gym, working on the pads to get his timing back. Mitt work is perfect for shaking off the rust.
About Personalized Training: Drills & Technique
I see too many people throwing wild punches in the air. In my one-on-one sessions, we spend half the time just on your footwork. If your feet are not set, your power is non-existent. We work the mitts to correct your guard, your reach, and your timing before you ever step into the ring to spar.
Why Technique Comes Before Power
Most commercial gyms let you hit a bag for an hour and call it boxing. That is just cardio. Real boxing is about discipline, distance, and defense. When we train one-on-one or in small groups at my Vidya Nagar facility, I am not here to hold your hand or count your reps. I am here to correct the split-second mistakes that leave you open.
What We Cover
- Mitt Work: This is where we simulate a fight. I watch your reaction times, call out combinations, and force you to keep your guard up when you are tired.
- Footwork and Angles: Boxing happens from the ground up. If you do not know how to pivot or slip, you are just a target. We drill these movements until they are instinct.
- Defensive IQ: We practice slips, parries, and head movement. You need to know how to not get hit before you worry about landing your own knockout blow.
The No-Frills Difference
My gym is raw. No air conditioning, no fancy mirrors. We have puzzle mats, heavy bags, and a ring for sparring. When you train here, you get the same level of intensity I put into every athlete. Whether you are a total beginner or prepping for a match, the standard stays the same. You show up, you listen, and you put in the work.
