Why I Teach Yoga
I’m Anita, and honestly, I believe anyone can start yoga. You just need a bit of patience and regularity - give it 3 months and see how you feel. My classes aren’t just about twisting yourself into a pretzel; it’s about building confidence, finding mental peace, and getting that crazy good energy boost. I’m happiest when I see someone walk out feeling stronger and more alive.
How My Classes Feel
I try to keep the vibe super positive and open. No stress about perfection - sab apna time pe (everyone goes at their own pace). I bring a lot of energy, sometimes counting out loud - “8, 7, 6...” - keeps things fun, and I make sure to give personal attention even in groups. Doesn’t matter if you’re a total newbie or you’ve been doing yoga for years, you’ll fit in.
What I Offer
- Private one-on-one sessions, indoors or even outside in a park if you want a change of scene.
- Group classes for that shared energy and community feeling.
- Prenatal yoga guidance and postnatal support for moms, based on my specific training.
- Yoga at corporate events or special occasions in Bengaluru.
- Online yoga sessions for those who prefer to join from home.
My Approach
Yoga for me is more than poses. I focus on breathing, stretching, moving with awareness, and connecting mind and body. No judgment, just progress. I’ve had students from 18 to 64 - everyone’s welcome.
Credentials
I’m dual-certified, with extra training in prenatal and postnatal yoga from a YACEP academy. Safety and proper guidance are always priority.

My Story
Hey, Anita here! Hit the big 5-0 last year, and honestly, I’m loving this ‘older, bolder’ vibe. Fitness ain’t about age for me—it’s about living loud. My ZUMBAholics family, they’re my crew, from the shy 64-year-old who now rocks a full hour, to my Durga Pujo squad. I keep learning new stuff because, well, why not? If you’re in your 20s or 60s, you’ll fit right in. We laugh, sweat, grow—together.
My Work
My Classes - I teach high-energy Zumba, inclusive yoga for seniors, prenatal yoga, Pilates, strength, and core circuit training.
Zero Judgment Zone - Doesn’t matter if you’re 25 or 65, newbie or pro. We just have fun and move together.
Go at Your Own Pace - Push yourself, but listen to your body. Be regular—give it 3 months, you’ll see the magic.
More Than Weight Loss - People get toned, sure, but it’s the boost in confidence and mental peace that I love most. Stress-buster vibes!
