We often start with a simple goal, like feeling better in our bodies. But the practice of yoga is a skill that extends beyond the mat, tempering us like an ironsmith strengthens iron, preparing us for life itself.

In our busy lives, movement is natural, but stillness must be learned. Shavasana, or the corpse pose, is a profound practice in training the mind to be still by first stilling the body.

I'm Medha, one of the co-founders, and I am so excited to welcome you to our shala. We've designed our classes to offer something for everyone, from foundational asana to deep relaxation with Yoga Nidra.

The Practice

Our approach is rooted in traditional Hatha yoga, focusing on the essential balance between strength and flexibility. Whether you are stepping onto the mat for the first time or you are a teacher looking to refine your technique, we have a space for you:

  • Abhyasa (Foundational): Ideal for beginners who want to build a sustainable base. We focus on alignment and breath, ensuring you understand the 'why' behind every movement.
  • Sadhana (Intermediate/Advanced): These sessions go deeper into asana mechanics, pranic energetics, and yogic philosophy. It is for those ready to treat their practice as a consistent discipline.
  • Aerial Yoga: A unique way to explore your practice. Using hammocks, we focus on spinal decompression, building core stability, and the pure joy of movement. It is often more accessible than people assume.

More Than a Studio

We don't just teach poses; we foster a sangha—a community. Yoga here is a shared journey. You will find people from all walks of life, learning together in an environment that values curiosity over perfection.

We also offer specialized services including Yoga Nidra for deep rest, therapeutic 1-on-1 sessions for injury rehab or prenatal care, and intensive teacher training programs.
