The Absolute Yoga Experience: Studio, Practice, and Community in Bengaluru
Welcome to the space we have built for real, accessible practice. Here is a look inside our Kalyan Nagar studio, our community, and the philosophy that keeps us grounded on the mat.
Today, something beautiful began. This video marks the opening of our studio, a space built on trust, movement, and stillness. The foundation is laid, and the journey inward from the mat begins. Welcome to Absolute Yoga.
We are thrilled to announce our move to a new, upgraded location. While our address has changed, our core values remain the same: a welcoming space to deepen your practice and connect with a supportive community.
From our beginnings to today, our vision has been to make yoga adaptable and fun while staying rooted in tradition. We have grown as teachers and are excited to evolve further, offering more variety and deeper experiences.
What makes a yoga teacher's day? Your feedback. Every time you share how a class has helped you, it reminds us why we do what we do. We are always listening and eager to know what you think about our classes.
We asked our students what they love most about our classes. The top reasons were our knowledgeable teachers and the personal attention they receive. This feedback is what drives us to maintain a high standard of teaching.
A duplicate of ID 65, this pie chart shows that students value our professional teachers, personal corrections, and the variety of our classes. We invite you to a free trial to experience it for yourself.
A good exercise regimen includes cardio, strength, and mobility. A curated yoga session offers all three. We start with flows like Surya Namaskar for cardio, move to strong postures for strength, and end with deep stretches for mobility, with a focus on breath throughout.
About this collection
We do not just teach poses; we teach you how to adapt them to your body. Whether you are dealing with back pain or just haven’t touched your toes in years, our instructors use props like chairs, blocks, and straps to make sure you get the full benefit of the stretch without fighting with your form.
At our Kalyan Nagar studio, we move away from the pressure of performing. Yoga is often marketed as a pursuit of extreme flexibility, but that is a myth we actively work to dismantle. Our classes focus on consistency and the functional movement of your body, rather than how you look in an asana.
What We Focus On
We offer a range of styles including Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, and Ashtanga. You will find that our sessions are structured to provide a balance of cardio, strength, and mobility. We do not stop at the physical; we integrate breathwork and philosophical discussions into our practice to help you understand the purpose behind every movement. For those needing specific support, we offer guidance for managing chronic back pain, digestive issues, and hormonal imbalances through yoga.
Community Beyond the Mat
Our practice does not end when you step off the mat. We host community events like outdoor yoga sessions, tree plantation drives, and annual treks. These gatherings are about building connections and finding peace in nature, reinforcing that yoga is a lifestyle, not just a workout.
Why Join Us?
- Personal Attention: We keep our group sessions small so we can observe your form and provide actual corrections.
- Adaptable Practice: Whether you are an absolute beginner or looking to deepen an advanced practice, we meet you where you are using props and modifications.
- No Frills: You won't find perfectionism here. You will find a supportive space to learn, breathe, and strengthen your practice at your own pace.
Absolute Yoga
We started Absolute Yoga in 2017 because we wanted a place where anyone could walk in as they are. We have grown to a team of 800+ practitioners, but our focus hasn't shifted: it is about you, your consistency, and finding a practice that fits your life in Bengaluru, not just your fitness tracker.
